Best place I have ever stayed at 🩵

From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Andrea and his wife genuinely care about the wellbeing and experience of their guests. This it’s hospitality from the heart 🩵 Andrea went out of his way to help me resolve an issue with my rental car, generously offering his own time and support, which made a stressful situation feel immediately manageable. That same thoughtfulness carries through every aspect of the stay. Breakfasts were a true highlight: beautifully presented, with delicious homemade cakes, perfectly prepared omelettes, and real attention to quality and detail. In the early evenings, they also hosted relaxed aperitifs with wine and snacks — a wonderful, convivial touch that made the place feel like a home rather than just accommodation. The property itself is spectacularly peaceful and beautiful . Every room is furnished with such care and consideration — nothing feels accidental. The bed was quite honestly the most comfortable I’ve slept in in years. What stayed with me most, though, was the authenticity. It’s rare to feel so clearly that hosts are deeply passionate about what they do and about the people who stay with them. You feel welcomed, seen, and cared for — effortlessly. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Andrea and family! You are one in a million 🙏🏻🩵🙏🏻

The best place to stay if you want to visit Arezzo and Cortona.

Andrea is one of the best hosts we could have asked for, incredibly attentive to details and radiating an authentic Italian vibe. The room, garden, and pool are spotless and beautifully maintained, with Andrea’s personal touch everywhere you look. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and comfortable!

The only downside was having to leave, everything else was just perfect.

Feels Like Staying with Friends in Tuscany

We stayed at Podere Fontanino this July and had a truly relaxing and memorable experience. The property is beautifully located just outside Arezzo, with only four rooms, which makes it feel intimate and peaceful. After hot days exploring the area, coming back to cool off in the lovely pool (with a view) was perfect. Our room was beautifully appointed, with great air conditioning (very welcome in summer), a comfortable bed, a great shower, and a mini bar stocked for convenience. Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with homemade pies, local specialties, made-to-order eggs, fresh juice and cappuccinos. What made the stay special was the warmth of Andrea, the owner, and his daughter. Andrea has the kind of energy that makes you feel like you're visiting an old friend. He was always happy to share great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, and nearby landmarks, and we had some lovely, relaxed conversations with him throughout our stay. If you're looking for a no-frills, no-BS kind of place to unwind and enjoy the Tuscan countryside, this is it. We would absolutely go back and recommend it without hesitation.

Peaceful & hospitable paradise

Amazing stay! Andrea and his family are very welcoming, caring and hospitable. We’ve been provided with everything mentioned in the description and many extra, since Andrea is very thoughtful and caring. Beautiful garden with stunning valley views. Perfectly clean and nice room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Delicious breakfast made of fresh local products & great cakes made by Barbara. We arrived without a car, and it was a perfect location for us since there are couple of good restaurants available by walking and this agroturismo can be reached by Arezzo taxi as well. Wifi is fast. Nice infinity pool, sauna is also available. We enjoyed our stay and family hospitality. If you visit Arezzo and surroundings, we strongly recommend this agroturismo.

Great accommodation, rooms were designed with excellent taste. Extremely clean. Andrea the host is one of the best hosts we have met, always there to help and provide advice and tips for an unforgettable stay. The breakfast was handmade daily with fresh ingredients promoting agriculture of the region. Pool clean with fantastic views of the area.

Super cozy, relaxed & personal place, thx. to the host - Andrea, who made us feel @holiday & @home ❤️ From the moment we set our foot and even before arriving via WhatsApp, we felt comfortable and welcomed - we were not disappointed, when we arrived ❤️ Four individually styled rooms, with all you need of 'hardware' to make your stay feel easy, ex. towels, bags and bottles, to bring to the pool. Home cooked breakfast, with Tuscany specialities, fresh fruit, cold cuts and eggs - all you can desire. Great infinity pool with well equipped self-service pool bar and a great view over the valley. Highly recommended - no regrets @all - just do it - book, relax and enjoy your stay 🇮🇹

This place is truly fantastic. The host is so fantastic to you. The host made the most special effort to make our time perfect in every way. You can not compare this place to anywhere else. It is heaven. Arezzo itself is a lovely place too, busy enough to feel exciting but not so busy that it is full of tourists everywhere. If you can, I steingly recommend you book this wonderful place. The perfect relaxing stay in a special place with special hosts.

We stayed at Podere Fontanino for 4 nights on an Italian road trip. We liked everything about this special place. Andrea and Barbara are the perfect hosts. They speak good English which was good because my Italian is poor. They are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Barbara is a wonderful baker - the food that she produces for the wonderful breakfasts is amazing. The grounds of the property are lovely and relaxing, with a fantastic infinity pool with perfect views across Tuscan hills. Andrea would love to have more people from the UK visit Arezzo and his lovely place. We certainly hope to return one day.

We enjoyed an exceptional holiday at Podere Fontanino. The owners are always available, have great suggestions for restaurants and trips, and are very kind and considerate, always trying to answer any questions, looking after their guests and fulfilling their wishes. We very much enjoyed this personal atmosphere. The property is big and luxurious, the pool with its bar a fantastic asset and breakfast is absolutely delicious, with homemade sweets and savouries. The location is ideal, too - there are no neighbours and the panoramic view from the infinity pool is spectacular. At the same time it‘s only a 10-min drive to beautiful Arezzo, which is very convenient. We‘ve had a wonderful time at Podere Fontanino and will certainly come back. A big thank you to the owners!

Special vacation in Pondere Fontanino.

The place is absolutely beautiful through and through. The view is amazing and the rooms beautiful. Pool area with the bar was most relaxing. The hosts were welcoming and made us feel special. Andrea gave us tips to places to visit and restaurants and made sure everything ran smoothly every day.

Podere Fontanino was truly special. The location is beautiful and a short drive away from Arezzo. Breakfast was divine every day and the pool with the views and bar perfect. I highly recommend this. Much more special than any 5 star hotel. Thank you Andrea and Barbara.

Couldn't ask for a better place to stay while seeing Arezzo.

The minute we arrived the owner was ready to give us a glass of very good wine, some bread, and some coldcuts. He recommended terrific restaurants right nearby; we tried two - the closest one makes fabulous pizza, and the one that's a km away serves amazing meats. The breakfast was far more than we could hope to eat and had every kind of breakfast food you could ask for. The hosts made their own pies and cakes and there were typically four of them each breakfast. All foods that are available locally are sourced locally from organic sources - only the oranges used for fresh-squeezed juice came from outside Tuscany. The host speaks English well and was very helpful suggesting places to go - we would not have seen the Roman bridge without his recommendation. Even the parking lot he suggested we use in the city was perfectly located, The place is about ten minutes south of Arezzo center in a semi-rural area surrounded by beautiful hills - its a calm and serene place to relax after a day's driving or museuming, This B&B is a great value for the price.

As we were ready to leave, the owner asked us sincerely what he could do to make our stay better, and we hemmed and hawed and scratched our heads trying to think of something to improve, but we really couldn't think of anything that was within the realm of reason.

Amazing place and host

The room was sparkling clean with unique design and a lot of attention to details. The infinity pool has incredible views over the hills. The breakfast is something special with a lot of surprises each morning: local dishes and homemade cakes. But what makes this place so great is the host, who is very responsive, friendly and happy to welcome you and to offer suggestions during your stay. Perfect accommodation if you want to visit Tuscany.

Everything was just on point. Andrea is such an amazing host and you can immediately tell that he manages this property with love and passion. Location and atmosphere are great.

The only thing i did not like was that i could stay there only one day because it was fully booked. I would have loved to stay one extra night!!
