Classic Lisbon Downtown Apartment

Excellent location. Spacious and secure. Charming decor, well stocked kitchen, quality linens and towels.

No working air conditioning in living room. Coffee maker never worked and not replaced during our three night stay. Loud restaurant and street music until 11pm. Missing shower stall panel in common bathroom.

The Property felt like we were staying at grandma's house, classic style decor, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. The location was great, central to all aspects of central Lisbon but a block off of the main pedestrian street. Just quiet enough after the restaurants closed for the evening.

The arrival felt like a treasure hunt: it was difficult to find the exterior address, and once inside, there were no numbers or indicators showing which door to enter; we simply tried the key in a few doors until we found the one that worked. Some of the furnishings, like the seats in the lounge, are worn; the seat cushions barely support a person. The air-conditioning was poor in the main bedroom, and we couldn't find a remote to operate the unit in the main area of the house. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom wobbled significantly on lower speeds; we feared it would come off the ceiling. The coffee maker would not turn on.
