Warm and welcoming hosts, comfortable beds, tasty breakfast. It's a working farm and we got to see all the animals, even feeding pigs some apples! Beautiful scenery.Would visit again!

A wonderful stay on a working farm

This is a full-on working farm, and the owners are wonderful, and very friendly. There was a lovely welcome when we arrived and we were looked after throughout our stay. The accommodation is in a perfect location to explore surrounding Cumbria as well as Yorkshire. The breakfast was lovely with choices that would suit most people. The beds are comfortable and we had a very quiet and peaceful stay. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Excellent location and family friendly hospitality

Family run B&B, excellent location in between farm. The farm animals like cows sheep and pigs were added advantage as our kids loved it. The host (Pauline) was a very friendly lady and the homemade morning breakfast was amazing. Thanks Pauline for welcoming us, and looking forward to visit again.

Nothing to dislike.. just a note if you arrive late and find the main door locked.. just twist the handle and the door will open.. :)

Excellent in every respect, would highly recommend it!!

We were so well looked after by Pauline and Roger! The hospitality was top notch, and an extra lovely touch is we got to meet the animals on the farm! The icing on the cake of a lovely weekend! Breakfast was delicious and Pauline did it for us earlier to accommodate us heading off for the 3 Peak Challenge!

There is nothing that we didn't like - everything was spot on!

An experience to be remembered

Pauline is a caring, helpful host. Spacious family en suite room for the three of us. Very tranquil and relaxing. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good hospitality tray with fresh milk. Little fridge. Excellently cooked breakfast which set us up for the day. Granddaughter said a sad farewell to the two pet pigs which she played with every day. Made lovely memories.

Lovely hospitality in a beautiful area

Go there just for the wonderful Pauline. She is the best hostess ever. She’s so kind, makes a lovely breakfast and offers dab recommendations for the local area. I go again just to chat to her.

The location is isolated, but you are on a working farm so that’s only to expected and the animals on the farm are gorgeous.

A fantastic overnight stay

Excellent room was excellent and accommodated all four of us. We were welcomed with tea & cakes. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked to order. We enjoyed seeing the animals, and the children were in love with Dotty and Oscar, the dogs. Spotlessly clean and bottled water available for drinking.

The most wonderful b&b we’ve ever stayed at.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ullathorns, we actually didn’t want to leave. Roger and Pauline are so lovely and welcomed us into their cosy home. Pauline greeted us with tea and cakes which was most welcome after a long drive. We had a lovely comfortable room with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and we got to meet all the wonderful farm animals. The best b&b we’ve stayed at, will definitely be returning.

What a great find. A little off the beaten track, but worth the effort. A traditional working farm, with a down to earth approach. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the breakfast delicious. Highly recommended.

Everything really. The room is in a real working farm house which is great. The host was absolutely lovely and the tea and cake on arrival, and the breakfast were really good.

The location is beautiful, among the scenic and romantic Yorkshire dales, the house atmospheric and very comfortable, the breakfast excellent and Pauline and her family very friendly, kind and helpful. Wonderful

Wonderful place, incredibly friendly people. We stayed for one night, waking up early to head to Gaping Gill. Mrs. Pauline prepared an amazing breakfast for us, including sandwiches, fruits, yogurt, etc., which we could enjoy in our room in the early morning. We enjoyed a time with lambs and calves, which was an extraordinary experience. Getting to the farm was very easy, everything was well signposted, a beautiful parking area, a scenic view from the window, and a very lovely room that lacked nothing. Thank you very much for the hospitality, we are more than satisfied.

Everything can't fault anything 💯 hosts for fantastic food fantastic location peaceful 2nd time there took one if the granddaughter she loved it didn't want to leave were allowed to look at the animals definitely booking again infact I work in stressful job that's the perfect place to go to get away from it all going to make it our regular place to go all the time

A relaxing break in a beautiful location at one with nature.

Ullathorns Farm is in a beautiful location and was just right for us to visit the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. We had a warm, hospitable welcome on arrival. The room was large, clean and comfortable. There was ample car parking space. Pauline and Roger were friendly and attentive. We were served a good, hearty breakfast and prior to us leaving, we had a great opportunity to experience a little of their farm life as Roger very kindly demonstrated sheep shearing.

A comfortable stop in a quiet perfect location.

A genuinely warm welcome into a very much a working farm. Very nice facilities in a perfect quiet location ideal for the visiting both the Lake District & the Yorkshire moors. Ullathorns Farm has been entered into my Address Book and I intend further stays there when next visiting friends in the area. Highly recommended.

Very clean and stunning location, Pauline is really accomodating - I was leaving early the following day and she kindly cooked a bacon sandwich for me and left it in the fridge in my room. Excellent communication.

Great stay and farm near the Lakes. Our kids love it!

Great stay, friendly staff, its run by a family, spacious and clean rooms. We were allowed to have a close look at the animals. Our kids were thrilled by it. Under an hour form lake district by car. Highly recommended if you are in the area!
