Beautiful location for a cozy winter break
Cozy cute little cottage in an excellent beautiful location. It was warm and comfortable with everything you could need for a cozy winter stay .
The sofa was a little uncomfortable probably nearly at the end of its life . The staircase is steep so anyone with mobility issues would probably struggle

An okay stay in an adequate cottage situated in a truly outstanding location.
Cosy cottage nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, with its unbeatable location as its main highlight. Situated in the centre of Ingleton, right on the riverbank, it offers direct access to nearby hiking trails—perfect for nature lovers and walkers. The kitchen is well equipped, with an oven, gas cooktop, microwave, fridge, freezer, sink, and plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, plus a toaster, kettle, and French press. While the cottage is small and has its quirks, it’s full of character, and it’s clear the owner has put thought into making it comfortable. For one or two people looking for a short stay, it provides almost everything needed.
The kitchen is generally well appointed, but there were no basic seasonings or sweeteners (salt, pepper, sugar, etc.), which meant a trip to the local co-op, where options were limited. Had I known, I would have brought my own. The kitchen hood light was out, and the freezer needed defrosting. While non-stick cookware is provided, the only utensil suitable for it was a very worn wooden spoon. The mattress is overdue for replacement, and the reclining sofa is quite tired and had a noticeable smell—the reclining mechanism on one side is also broken. The absence of a shower is a significant drawback, especially after a long day of hiking. There is no designated parking space. Parking is on the street, as available or in a pay and stay lot some distance away.

Great cottage stay
Great location to be based for our holiday, cute cottage right by the river. Cottage had everything we needed. Lots of places to eat nearby, recommend the Marton Arms. Smaller cottage than usual but is quaint. Owners are in hand next door should you have any issues
Parking is limited, however we were lucky and there was always a space on the road. We found the stairs ok but they were small and tight, should anyone have any disabilities

Nothing, other than to say we will return if Lizzie will have us 🩷
Everything was provided that we would need bar food. Perfect location! Quirky and homely. Lizzie, the owner was easy to contact and lives just next door in emergencies, although we didn’t have any need. Just perfect for two people and being pet friendly, dogs too. Although I would say just dinky dogs as the stairs might be too steep for larger dogs. There is a sign that says no dogs upstairs, but in practise that’s really hard especially with our dog who is quite young. Thankfully, she’s a non-moulter.
Loved everything! Be prepared though as because it’s so lovely, people passing in front do think it’s their right to have a look in the windows, which can be funny when they get too close and see you looking right at them!

Perfect for 2 ppl
Tiny cosy cottage was great for our hiking weekend. Very comfortable bed, soft towels, equipped kitchen. Responsive and helpful host. Great location!
Property is dog friendly but there isn’t access to the garden. Not a big deal as there is a riverside walk right next to it.
