It was cosy and clean. Perfect for what we needed. Facilities were good and the garden was a bonus for our dog. The neighbours and area seemed friendly and safe. The distance to the village was just right.

The main road can be a bit noisy at night so if it bothers you that much take earplugs in preparation, it didn’t effect our stay at all & when the wi does/doors are closed it’s very peaceful.

Location was very good for going to many of the local sites and places, including not far from the Lake District and Hawes. The apartment was right across the street from a petrol station that had some groceries. You could also walk to the downtown area and see many of the lovely sites. We drove to the one of the other towns about 15 minutes away for a full grocery run. The location was excellent.
Parking was on site in a designated area for holiday letters - this was not as clear to us until we talked to the host and asked where to park. The parking is on the left in a fenced in area with some numbered slots belonging to other apartment owners. Park anywhere within this area except the numbered spaces. I think there were like 4-5 parking spaces open to us.
The property is on one floor with a full kitchen and dining area. The full kitchen was well equipped. The space being on one floor was great!
Many of the properties we have stayed at have a book about the property to help figure out things. The host called us and this cleared up some things. There is a drawer with brochures for local attractions and restaurants, but some of the places are now closed.
We had a mix up with the host about the deposit. We had reached out prior to booking to confirm we could use a credit card and not a bank card, since we don't have an IBAN, as our bank is small. We ended up using a different payment route, but we would recommend anyone considering this property make sure to have an IBAN. Something to consider.
The washing machine is accessible, but there was a microwave on top and it rattled, so we pulled that off to make sure it would not fall. There is no dryer, but there was a drying rack.
There is no control for the temperature -- the host may want to put a thermostat in with limited control by the guests, or one that at least lets them know what the temperature is within the property. The only other thing is one we discussed with the owner -- the area right near the bathtub has problems and is soft. They are aware though, so it is not a problem really, just uncomfortable under foot.

It was a perfect base for hiking the three peaks challenge, house is well kept, clean with a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The host is lovely, sent us all the necessary instructions a week before arrival, and also was easily reachable via booking.com messaging.

Great location, just a short walk into the village centre. Communication prior to arrival was excellent and instructions on arrival were clear. Apartment was clean, well presented and had everything we needed (which was needed after spending 2 days walking up mountains) would 100% recommend and we will be booking again next time

the apartment was really comfortable, the beds were exceptionally comfortable.. it was home from home and a perfect location for exploring Ingleton. we did caving, climbed Ingleborough and did the Ingleton Waterfall walk. a perfect family holiday.

and the fact that it was very cold at certain times of day. the heating was rarely on, and it couldn’t be adjusted. The owner ignored requests to turn it up

This is a spacious, ground floor apartment with easy parking, located a short walk from the attractive village centre. It is furnished for comfort and Gill is nearby and very attentive to your needs.
There was some confusion about which apartment we had been booked into so check whether you are on the ground or first floor.
Also, get clear directions because Google Maps does not locate the apartment accurately.
The only noticeable lack compared to most places was a pantry. If you wanted to cook you would be starting from scratch.

Great apartment that is kept to a great standard and clean. Wi-Fi and all facilities in the apartment make it feel like a home from home and worth every penny of the stay.
I was a little unsure at first but after a quick call with Gill we knew she is a great host, that will happily leave you to it, knowing she is only a phone call away if you need her for anything.
I would highly recommend a luxury stay here in a home from home.

Very nice apartment, spacious and clean with some great facilities. Location is excellent being only a 5 min walk to the centre of Ingleton and very close to the main road connecting you to the Lakes (the pub is only 2 mins walk away as well!)
only a slight gripe, as the weather was very hot, but the beds seemed to have thick winter duvets and very warm bed linen, which made it a little uncomfortable at night. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on though.
