The property was in an excellent location, right next to River Valley, approx 8 minute walk to settle and was easy to locate. Across the road there was a grass area to let the dog out. Property was spacious but just too cold.
Unfortunately whilst I understand the weather was cold and 16th century mill. The inside of the apartment was very cold. The bedroom closest to the lounge was so cold with drafts coming from the window and room with bunk beds was the same. This would be a concern if travelling in winter with young children. We are very fair and would always leave good reviews and overlook items, but I wouldn’t book again for this reason.
We slept with clothes on, and boosted the heating but properly remained cold. We contacted the handling agent, who responded immediately and were helpful and boosted the heating but properly still remained too cold. We would frequently turn oven on, to warm the lounge. The batteries had been taken out of remote control, agent said we could purchase and would be reimbursed, but didn’t bother. The washing liquid was left was watered down and practically empty the same with the hand wash in the bathroom. Milk sachets left were off. The location is great and apartment spacious but disappointing. There was an absolute miniature vodka under the sofa which wasn’t ours and indicates clean was a quick clean.
