If you need a quiet relaxing break, this is one place I can highly recommend.

On arrival the host greeted us and was very warm and welcoming. Once we were in the property we found she had set out cups and facilities for a welcoming brew up along with some home made flapjacks which very much hit the spot. The location is better than we could have hoped for. Zero light pollution for night sky photography and so far from anywhere that traffic noise did not exist, nor any other noise for that matter. All the time we were there, the only sound we heard was the occasional bleat from the residents in the next field.

Perfect!

Outstanding place!!!! Highly recommend. Communication on where to go, how to get in was great. Host met me as soon as I arrived. Lovely place in a lovely location. Will definitely be going back. It was a 4 day walking trip with a friend so location was spot on. Wifi was brilliant as I had to work at the same time.

Wish this cottage was up for sale, it’s perfect!

Exceptional

Cosy cottage with lots of kitchen equipment. The cottage is set in a lovely spot with panoramic views of nearby hills and sheep in the field next door. It is only a 4 mile drive to Ingleton where there is a co-op, fish & chips shop and pubs offering food and drinks.

A perfect retreat to enjoy some peace and quiet with spectacular views.

A perfect, well equipped, comfortable, cosy cottage with spectacular views. We enjoyed watching the abundance of wildlife- we saw many garden birds including goldfinches. We were fortunate to see a Merlin down the lane when we were out walking and a stoat running along the stone wall hunting out it's prey. We arrived in the middle of the lambing season and enjoyed watching the little lambs skipping around in the surrounding fields. We couldn't fault this cottage and can recommend without any hesitation. The host (Jennie) was very friendly and on site to greet us- she'd even made us some flapjacks to enjoy with a welcome brew. We can't wait to return.
