A homely cottage to relax in after a long working day
Only small drawback was the thickness of the duvets. Although our stay was in late September we still found them far too warm and there didn't seem to be any lighter alternative.

Really lovely cottage but not appropriate for nervous dogs
The cottage was homely, warm and comfortable, and very clean. Everything you need in the kitchen for food preparation and a welcome basket of goodies, even biscuits for the dog!
Unfortunately, the location on the junction, with so much loud traffic at night( ? Lorries) and the lack of pavements or anywhere to walk the dog last thing and in the morning was a significant drawback for me. My dog was very frightened by the traffic through the night because at times it did feel as though we were about to be driven into.

A beautiful relaxing gem with easy access to lots of beautiful places nearby!

Nothing at all. We took our dog along with us and our only worry was that we were on a very busy corner. Saying that the back of the property was very secure

wet dog smell on arrival - one lady bit by something - did not realise this was a dog friendly cottage oven was not good took to long to heat up

Very comfortable well appointed cottage. A thoughtful welcome basket with homemade marmalade. Plenty of wood ready for wood burning stove. Excellent restaurant next door.
