We loved this property, the decor was fab, very comfortable, everything you could want, tea & coffee had been left which was a nice touch along with a welcome guide and local maps which was v useful.

That we could only stay one night …. Next time!

Cosy stay in Sedbergh

Really comfortable, clean little ground floor accommodation. Ideal for single travellers or couples right in the heart of Sedburgh. I'd be very happy to stay again

Really nice, comfortable couple of days in a pleasant location.

Lovely place to stay, very comfortable in all aspects. Lots of information provided by the host, the kitchen had everything you needed and I enjoyed getting a shower overlooking the hills :-)

Not the host's fault at all but I'm very susceptible to noise and there is a road right outside so the cars sound quite close and as they drive over a grid, it kind of resonates through the room. Honestly this is me being extra picky. Once I put my earplugs in, it was ok but when I go away, I don't really want to have to wear earplugs (sorry).

Lovely comfortable, safe, attractive apartment.

Everything I wanted for self catering, great location very near Dales Way walk, lovely town. Host kindly gave me a laundry pod so I could do a wash (and not have to lug detergent a further 25 miles in my rucksack!)

Nothing major- though key safe may be a bit high up for shorter guests (I'm 5ft 2in and had a bit of a reach). That's me being short though!

The Old Chair Workshop is a lovely place to stay, is very comfortable and stylishly furnished, and is very well situated on Sedbergh Main St. The owners very kindly provide a parking permit for the village car park opposite the property.

Hidden gem

The location is excellent with everything you need on the street, cafe, pub grub, fish and chips or pizza, kebab ect. Parking is really close and free. The apartment is cosy, clean and charming. I stayed with a friend while we were counting deer for forestry and he used the pull out bed which he said was very comfortable. The main bed was very comfortable. I will probably book again to take my wife for a short break because it was so nice . I can't really pick any faults with it .

Querky, ideal for longer stays, overkill for one night

Freedom to eat in or eat out. We chose to save some ££ to eat in. The cooker was easy to use as the coffee maker.The bed was comfortable. However, the duvet heavier than most. It was not too warm, just right.

The accommodation felt like someone's home and staying in someone's home takes getting used to. The back door was very stiff.

Fantastic place to stay when walking the Dales Way.

Lovely flat right on the main street. Very stylishly decorated - we particularly liked the bathroom which had a very good shower. Comfortable beds, including the sofa bed. Great communication. Everything we needed for a one night stay. We had dinner from the chip shop round the corner which was very good.

Comfortable and charming stay in Sedbergh

We had a wonderful short stay at the Old Chair Workshop, briefly passing through on my husband’s cycle journey from Lands End to JoG. This apartment was a perfect slice of welcome comfort and coziness that was needed and we enjoyed an evening in, making full use of the kitchen with delicious supplies from the local butchers and Tebay services. Check in was very simple and our stay was very relaxed. We hope to visit again for a lengthier break.
