Amazingly comfy bed & fab shower. Everything we needed for a great stay

Nothing can be done but right next to the road. A small price to pay for otherwise great accommodation

The Old Chair workshop is a lovely studio apartment on the ground floor of an old town house. There was plenty of space and it was equipped & furnished in a really beautiful way to a high standard. Although it is located on the main street the road was quiet at night and we were not bothered by traffic noise. The kitchen had enough equipment for us as backpackers to make meals and wash up after. There is Powells grocers about 50 m away and a large Spar about 1 km away. The main bed and the sofa bed were both really comfortable - the shower was fabulous! Madelaine was very friendly and helpful in advice about the area. Great communication beforehand as well.

Nothing really. Minor comments are: A small jug of fresh milk in the fridge would have been great rather than the individual plastic tubes of long life milk to make that arrival cup of tea but this is a minor thing. If one had been caught in the wet a clothes airer would be useful to be able to hang waterproofs etc up to dry rather than the understairs cupboard and chairs.

Cozy and very well furnished and equipped. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Traffic noise in the early hours

Plenty of space. Well located in town centre.

No instant coffee or decaf. No plug in sink or washbasin and dismissive response from owner when asked. Uncomfortable bed.
