The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and has everything you need. The host, Lucy was more than accommodating and her communication was great too which was appreciated. The location is very central too

Location was great, so central. Beds and linen really comfortable. Great coffee machine and there's a small entrance hall as you come in to pop shoes and coats. Loved all of the artwork and pictures. Great for a short weekend stay, a real gem.

Loved the design, the location (near the local shops and restaurants) and the fact it’s a beautiful old building. Beds super comfy. Clean and well equipped bathroom. No problems parking on the road outside.
The property was not completely clean when we arrived, there were several dead woodlice on the floor in every room, a bad smell in the downstairs bedroom and the kitchen table had food marks on it. By the time I got in contact with the owner I had already started cleaning it. I’d had a 7 hour drive and arrived early evening. I was surprised as the reviews had said the property was spotless so this may have been an anomaly. The owner kindly offered a refund if we could find somewhere else to stay but it was a little last minute and I had already started cleaning it. She apologised and said she was two hours away therefore couldn’t come and help. There are sharp carpet tacks on the slope in the double room. Had to reset the boiler as had no hot water but this was easily done. Some pillows need replacing.
