Perfect for two traveling friends. One of us took the upstairs, one took the downstairs, and we ate/hung out on the main floor. Millthrop and Sedbergh are just lovely and made a nice base for our explorations of the area. The gorgeous gardens were a bonus, as were the sheep on the near hillside. Everything we needed was in the cottage, clean and fully functioning. Thank you!
For Americans unfamiliar with the area, the property was difficult to find. The property owned sent detailed directions, but we were still confused because our map app showed The Old Property in Sedbergh city centre. Also, we at first didn’t understand that Millthrop is a separate little hamlet.

Quiet location but close to Sedbergh. Lovely walks in the area along the river. The cottage was clean, has comfy beds, an excellent shower and is nicely furnished, with attention to detail. Everything for a great stay was provided.
