The old pottery

The location is perfect for great walks and it is easily accessed from the motorway. The village, shops and pub are also at a walking distance. It was really quiet, surrounded by fields, sheep and birds. Bliss! There were a number of maps there that we could use. The owners reply quickly to messages and are welcoming. We shared the house with 2 other couples and we enjoyed having so much space, and comfort. The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of utensils, so we could enjoy our meals around the big kitchen table and having a dishwasher was definitely welcome. We also enjoyed the space outside and the lovely shower upstairs. We would definitely love to come back here!

Nothing bad, just a word of caution! Be aware if you have mobility issues as the stairs are a bit steep .

It was spacious, quiet, well appointed and comfortable. There were some very nice welcome gifts and it was extremely dog friendly. We found a lovely dog walk up the track and on to the moors.

The spiral staircase was a little challenging and we couldn’t get much to work on the tv. Parking was fine, but had some of the neighbours not gone out, we might have struggled to get the car out… we have a large vehicle.
