Prachtige cottage, midden in ook prachtig landschap. Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig en er is veel ruimte. We konden helaas maar 1 nacht blijven maar hopen in de toekomst terug te keren!

Nous étions un groupe de cinq motards dont une passagère mal voyante (quatre motos), et nous voulions visiter le Lake District. Nous avons donc choisi un cam de base situé au sud afin de raccourcir le trajet nous séparant du ferry, tant à l'aller qu'au retour. Ce cottage est situé dans un charmant petit hameau très tranquille et nos motos étaient garées dans une cour, sous la surveillance discrète du propriétaire qui habite derrière. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vaste cuisine très bien équipée où nous prenions le petit déjeuner et le dîner, ainsi que le salon, la literie excellent et les deux salles de bains.

Brilliant house, lovely owners. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable for all three of us. We were sad to be only stopping one night!!

Nothing

The location is perfect for great walks and it is easily accessed from the motorway. The village, shops and pub are also at a walking distance. It was really quiet, surrounded by fields, sheep and birds. Bliss! There were a number of maps there that we could use. The owners reply quickly to messages and are welcoming. We shared the house with 2 other couples and we enjoyed having so much space, and comfort. The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of utensils, so we could enjoy our meals around the big kitchen table and having a dishwasher was definitely welcome. We also enjoyed the space outside and the lovely shower upstairs. We would definitely love to come back here!

Nothing bad, just a word of caution! Be aware if you have mobility issues as the stairs are a bit steep .
