Aelios Design Hotel

Lovely setting and location, quiet yet near everything. Our room had beautiful original features. A very comfortable bed and when asked for a duvet it was promptly given. Staff are super friendly and we loved our stay. Thank you.

The bathroom sadly has a damp and fusty smell, which comes into the room leaving it not smelling nice, having no window in the bathroom keeps the moisture in there. I could open the bedroom window and leave the bathroom door open but the unpleasant smell then makes the bedroom smell. A catch 22. There was mould around the tiles on the floor which could be cleaned better. When the room service came the bathroom floor was always left quite wet which adds to the damp and fusty smell. At times it was unpleasant.

This hotel was a fabulous experience from the very first moment when we were greeted by the wonderful receptionist with a glass a chilled fruit juice, really thoughtful. The room was lovely, the bed super comfortable and the bedding and towels really top quality. The position of the hotel must be its unique point though. It is right in the heart of the old town but as soon as you step through the doorway off the street and into the private garden, you are in an oasis of calm.

Nothing at all

Great location, and a lovely renovated building. Owners were very friendly and welcoming.
