If you want to feel like a local while staying in Chania Old Town, this is the perfect place. The apartment offers outstanding value for money and is in an unbeatable location — just a few minutes’ walk from both the beach and the city centre, giving you the best of all worlds if you want a change of scenery. The balcony was an absolute dream. So much so that passers-by would often stop and look up in awe. It was the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or breakfast before heading out for the day. The bed was very comfortable, and although the cooking facilities are basic, there’s a world of amazing food right on your doorstep. There are also supermarkets a short walk outside the old town if you want to save money and enjoy breakfast on the balcony. I’m a very light sleeper, so it’s worth mentioning that there is some street noise. However, this is completely normal given the acoustics of the old buildings and the design of the narrow streets. I had no issues sleeping with earplugs. Noise generally stopped around midnight, though the street comes back to life early around 6am as shops begin opening. Communication was great throughout the stay, and the apartment was cleaned with fresh towels provided on the fourth day, which was a lovely touch. I would happily stay here again.

Simple place, very centrally located in the old town, with everything within a short walk: restaurants, supermarkets, all the cute shops, bus station, promenade. Comfortable bed and pillows, and even beach towels were provided. The owner is very nice, responsive and helpful.

Not really an issue, just be aware that the studio is in a commercial area, so you can hear what's going on the street mostly during the day, but one is supposed to be out enjoying beautiful Chania anyway.

The room was basic but clean and tidy, the host left wine raki and fruit which was very nice, the location was perfect with plenty of bars and restaurants close by.
