Lower Mill Estate, The Cotswolds, is a private estate amidst lakeside trails, rivers and hundreds of acres of green space. It boasts an award-winning spa, numerous swimming pools, an outstanding restaurant and an activity centre.
Whether you hire a kayak, try your hand at paddle boarding, practice your serve or enjoy a drink on your private decking.

This modern, two bedroomed first floor apartment enjoys a westerly aspect with a beautifully large balcony overlooking Swillbrook Lake providing outdoor seating. Two double en-suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge/diner and kitchen area.

This property has a put up bed in the lounge area that can accommodate one guest, if you would like to use this you will need to provide your own bedding.
Master double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Double doors onto the balcony overlooking Swillbrook Lake. Further double bedroom and en-suite shower room.

OUTSIDE
Private deck facing west and overlooking Swillbrook Lake and Nature Reserve. Dining for four provided for your comfort.

We have a spa onsite with a bracing outdoor eco-pool, naturally filtered by water lilies. There are two more 20m heated pools – one indoor and one outdoor, a steam room, a sauna and a technogym. Treatments are also available at the spa.
We have Tennis and MUGA counts onsite along with our lakeside nature reserve which is comprised of eight lakes, two rivers and miles of walking trails.

You will also find The Activity Hub onsite and they manage all the equipment hire of bikes, canoes and kayaks - there's something for everyone!

To uphold the ethos of the estate, it does not allow for large single sex groups or excessive noise after 11 pm. A code of conduct will need to be acknowledged and signed prior to arrival. Please read carefully the policies stated below before booking. All our properties at Lower Mill Estate, The Cotswolds have strict rules to ensure a family friendly atmosphere. Our properties must strictly be used for holiday purposes only and not for working in and or using to commute to and from a place of work. Stag and Hen parties are strictly not allowed at any of our properties, and we reserve the right to cancel your booking if you break the estate rules.

Very clean and kitchen well equipped with plenty of crockery and cooking pots/pans. Beautiful views over the lake from the large balcony, one of the wicker chairs I wasn't too sure about as it was certainly starting to show its age. Comfy sofas and beds.

The apartment is very clean and has a balcony accessible from the lounge and both bedrooms. As our party was two couples it was good to have both en suite, the second one is quite tight. The park setting is nice and there are several walks around the nature reserve. It’s said to be home to all sorts of exciting animals to spot but didn’t see a thing! Signposting is terrible and it’s easy to get lost on the site as it all looks very samey but set in a good location for Cotswolds towns and villages including Cirencester only minutes away. The disadvantage of the apartment is thin walls so our tranquil weekend we planned on the lake was disturbed by a very grisly child who wasn’t keen on sleep. We didn’t use the spa or restaurant but the coffee was good.

We previously stayed at this property 3 years ago. It was not as comfortable this time around. - wasps nest. We were told this was treated twice during our stay. The wasps never went therefore we could not eat out on the balcony. - balcony chairs very worn, one was broken. - carpets in property are dirty and stained. - cracked tile in kitchen - dishwasher smells. We unblocked this and it was grim. - Both shower drains blocked so you ended up standing in inches of water with each shower. - front door handle was hanging off. They did fix this. - internet was great first day then only available in the lounge, occasionally for the rest of the week. -Washing machine smells mouldy. We would go back to lower mill as the estate is lovely and location great. We would not stay at this property again. Staff were friendly and helpful.
