About this house rental
A perfect vacation destination, "Rosebud" is located in the high-end Dionis neighborhood of Nantucket Island, within walking distance to Dionis Beach and only a few miles from town. Set back on a winding shell-covered driveway, and perched on a hill, Rosebud offers privacy and sweeping views of the Nantucket Sound and the Moors.
The property was newly renovated and updated for the 2019 season with new bathrooms, AC, and furniture throughout the house and cottage. Natural light pours in from all sides on an open first floor, providing wonderful entertaining space. The first floor includes a large gourmet kitchen with an extended island. The living room is flooded with sunlight and a view to the Sound. There is a full bath and bedroom with Queen bed on the first floor.
The focal point of the main house is an architectural masterpiece cherry staircase handcrafted by Nantucket artist Stephen Swift. Ascend the stairs to the great room with windows on three sides and clear views to the water. Enjoy a cocktail to watch the gorgeous sunsets over Dionis while sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the upstairs porch. Sink into the designer couch by Restoration Hardware while watching a movie on the 65" tv. The second floor also offers three bedrooms upstairs including a master with king bed and walk-in closet, another large bedroom with a king bed, and a bedroom with two twin beds.
In the backyard, there is extensive landscaping including beautiful and mature hydrangeas, Rose of Sharon, and annual flowers throughout. A flagstone walk leads to a large poolside patio with seating for six and four additional chaise lounge chairs. The brick patio surrounds a 55 foot lap pool that is ideal for kids as well as exercise. The main porch of the house has a gas grill and table seating for eight.
The cottage was completely renovated in 2017 and offers a generous master bedroom and a children's bedroom with two bunk beds. You'll want to spend all of your time in the open upstairs with windows on four walls, a modern kitchen, and sleek artwork.
The walk to Dionis beach is only 10 minutes on the bike path down Eel Point Road. Ride your bikes to town, which is less than 3 miles and on the bike path.

This home is stunning, well taken care of, and extremely clean. We've stayed in many different homes on Nantucket over the years and this one was by far the best. Not only was the house gorgeous, the host called ahead of time to make sure we had the perfect visit and was extremely generous with his home. We hope to be able to stay again!

Rosebud was the perfect location to celebrate my dads 70th birthday with family. The house and cottage were immaculate, the pool was the perfect temperature and a highlight for the kids, and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Mike was quick to help with last minute questions, and even called me promptly when he was informed that a purse was left on the property. It was truly a trip we will never forget. Thanks, Mike!

We had a great experience at this house in the early fall this year. The house is plenty big and well equipped to fit a whole family - complete with two young ones. Mike was super easy to connect with and very helpful. And the location is prime - plenty of privacy and space with views of the ocean. Hope we will be back in the future.

We enjoyed every minute - if any remarks, it might only be that the pool filters needed cleaning and there were some stray frogs and mice who’d fallen in - we removed them and hoped the chemicals were doing their job.We loved our stay and would love to return!The house is very well appointed, most comfortable, perfectly located - a great family long weekend❗️The cleaners did come an hour and a half early on Sunday - but they waited as we gathered our belongings. Thank you for a wonderful time at Rosebud!The See family
