Nice apartment but run down a bit with rude management

Great location, nice terrace and a well built and set up apartment

It’s run down, mold in bathroom, broken shower knob, broken fridge. But most disappointing really unresponsive and rude communication. Reported the issues which was ignored, after leaving got very angry texts from personnel „how we ruined the apartment“.

Really nice

Beautiful area, lovely hotel. The beds were comfortable, the kitchenette was great except the fridge was on the blink. We will let the management know but otherwise it was really nice.

Lots of steep and narrow stairs so if your up in years or have knee issues, ask for a room on the lower landings.

The apartment was just perfect for our family of four. The view was one of the best I have ever had and the fact we could be swimming in the sea within 5 min walk made it all the better! Great to swim round the corner of the bay below the church rather than from the beach as it is quieter and has steps in, early morning and evening were idyllic. The central location coudl not have been better and there are great restaurants just below in the main square. Advice would be pack light, take a bag/rucksack rather than case as the stairs to the apartment make carrying heavy cases tricky. The host was super helpful and arranged our car to be parked out of the village for us. Would totally stay here again but come via train instead of car and pack less! Highly recommend.

Great location. Facilities seemed brand new / recently renovated and very modern. Decent space in the room with a desk and a mini kitchen. Good comm with the host.

Wasn't expecting an elevator, but the stairs to the top floor were steep and made it kind of difficult to climb the stairs with a big suitcase.

Four days in Vernazza

This terrace room is absolutely gorgeous. Large terrace with view over the town square and the harbour. Probably one of the best spots in Vernazza. The room was equipped with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Vernazza is at its best early in the morning, watching the town spring to life, and before the tourists arrive in great numbers. Also prima view over the number one star of the square, the square cat. Easily the most pictured object in Vernazza.

Well, there is no way arround it, the houses in Vernazza are small and they do have narrow and steep staircases. No elevator I'm aware of. If climbing many stairs is an issue for you, take this in consideration. Also the quality of the food in the square restaurants are mediocre, botdering to downright terrible. Better food to be had further up in the town.

Location was spectacular. The terrace was so beautiful overlooking Vernazza. Bonus was not many steps from the train station to the front door (compared to the other options)! Owners were very responsive and super helpful!

Vernazza a beautiful part of Cinque Terre

Central in Vernazza, close to everything

To access you have to go up 2 flights of stairs, put a code to open a door which opened via an electronic system, then go up more stairs and do the same. There was no other way out as a fire escape and I felt anxious incase the electric failed and I could not open door. The owner did not meet us, just left instructions.

A real treasure !👌🏻 Gorgeously located in the heart of Vernazza! Super comfortable, enough space for a family with two big children, super clean, bright and very cute. The terrace is divine! The view couldn't be better! We couldn't wait to get up and have our first coffee there, with a divine view over the marina and the cathedral! Everything has codes, no keys. As soon as you enter, you can feel that the owners have tried to make their guests feel very good. For us, the feeling was incredible! We felt wonderful! Thank you! Nothing is missing, there is even a coffee machine! The bathroom: Paradise for three girls with long hair😊 Beautiful, luxurious and super comfortable. The blankets,bed linen ,towels are beautifully white and clean! The sofa and beds are super comfortable! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your hospitality! It was a real pleasure for us!

Location in the village.

No service- one tiny garbage can that needed to be emptied once per day but was not. We stayed three nights and no Tidying up, no clean towels, dishes, etc. Only two small bottles of water for the entire stay. I question the square footage advertised. Tiny room. Many narrow steps with no handrail. Dangerous.

Amazing!

I really liked the location, the cleanliness, all of the added features within the rental, THE VIEW!! de clear directions, the sound of the ocean while sleeping. I appreciated that the church bells didn’t go on the half hour all through the night:)

The stairs were a bit crazy, but we were prepared for it!! The facility really could’ve used a stove top or cooking element. The shower door did a leak despite our best efforts, under the shower door and onto the bathroom floor.

The view from the balcony was amazing. Very central. Lots restaurants and sea right by you 5 min walk to trains station. No key key code. Host was very organised with instructions to apartment. Apartment was modern and clean. We loved Vernazza. On top floor so if not so go mobility not for you.

Dangerous Room and Terrible Customer Service

I searched for a room with a terrace. I booked “terrace” from these people. They confirmed. Months later they told me booking app made a mistake and the reservation was for this room. At that point there were no more rooms with terraces available. The location was great. I guess the one star is for that. Everything else was terrible. They have a metal door with no free egress on it. A button needs to be pressed to unlock this heavy door when leaving the apartment. It broke. Marta tried to say that we broke it and then that the other guests in the Terrace room broke it. After being locked in the room for over 45 minutes (missing our reservation we made weeks in advance) the worker they sent finally was able to open the door. It was incredibly stressful and anxiety-inducing. To make matters worse, Marta just kept making excises and blaming everyone but herself and their deathtrap. Never once did she even apologize. When I asked her what she was going to do to make up for this terrible experience (maybe not charge us for the night) she offered a discount for the next time we stay. I’m a calm and reasonable person who travels extensively. I have never felt the way this person made me feel. She single handedly ruined our days in cinque terre. I highly recommend staying elsewhere. They are terrible.

A fabulous location, really comfortable beds, highly recommend

This apartment is located in the heart of Vernazza. The stunning views and the balcony overlooking the town certainly made this a memorable stay. Given the age of the buildings, there was no surprise that the stairs leading up to the room were extremely steep and contained no elevator to get our bags up the four flights of stairs. A small price to pay for a big reward at the top. To get into the apartment, you are required to put in three codes provided by the host which gave us a great sense of security. The check-in process is virtual and all communication with Marta the host was very good. Once in the room, we were greeted with a spacious area with a very comfortable queen bed and pull-out sofa. The bathroom was big with a luxuriously sized shower and waterfall shower head with an extra two shower heads with the flick of a switch depending on your preference. The view was amazing and gives you the opportunity to see Vernazza from a bird’s eye-view. Overall, we would highly recommend this beautifully-renovated and comfortable apartment.

Great experience and location in Vernazza to visit Cinque Terre.

Confortable bed and good to have air conditioning and mini fridge. Nice walk in shower. Quiet location. Check in process was easy and close to train station. Comminication from Marta was helpful to make check in and check out simple.

Not that I didn’t like this but I feel people need to be well aware of steep and narrow staircase which could be challenging for many people. Especially trying to carry luggage.
