We only stayed for two nights, but those two nights turned into a truly unforgettable experience. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming - everything felt like home from the very first moment. The guesthouse was perfectly clean, full of authentic charm, and the breakfast was delicious and made with care. It was such a cozy and special place that we didn’t want to leave and already wished to come back again.

My room had the best view of the mountains and palace. The breakfast was amazing and the care and hospitality were wonderful, thank you Paula 💛

Mario and Paula were lovely. The room was large. There was a beautiful garden and an outside patio. Two friendly outdoor cats.
The offered breakfast was local food, homemade bread and fruit and vegetables from the garden. It was enough to feed me for the whole day. Paula offered bags, so I could pack a lunch.
The room had an amazing view of Palace Pena and the Moorish Castle.
Very quiet at night.
It was a bit further from Sintra than I expected. I was not able to walk to the town due to narrow streets and a busy road.
The payoff was the quiet. Mario drove me me.to Sintra in the morning. I used an Uber to get back. It wasn't expensive.

The dogs barking during the night. There was no air conditioning and the hot water for the shower was hit and miss
