Great stay with a local family in a quiet location for Mazunte

It was clean and had air conditioning, was quiet and generally comfortable. The family who runs this place was very nice.

It was a pleasure staying at Angelique’s place. I felt totally relaxed and happy to be there!

I loved everything about this place - the setting, the proprietors, the room, the patio with hammock, the fridge, the microwave, the hot/cold water dispenser, the clothesline, the coffee maker, the big jug of water on the patio, the quiet and peacefulness especially. It is set off the road in a tranquil setting. There is a store close by for essentials. It’s an 8-10 minute walk through the small town to get to the beach - very pleasant strolling.

I made do just fine with the furniture available as it was just for a few days. If it was longer, I would have like some drawers to put my clothes. I also like to have a hairdryer, but that’s just me!

Quiet, clean, air conditioned with a large fan, fridge/freezer available to use, potable water for each room and in the kitchen area, shaded sitting areas, owner’s always available, owner’s very accommodating, the room wasn’t booked until the following night and our taxi didn’t leave for the airport until 3pm so they let us leave our bags and stay in the room until the late afternoon.

Bathroom was quite small, but usable.

I always like sating at Casa Aldairis

The hosts are absolutely amazing and friendly and help with anything. It is a very charming quiet place at walking distance from the main road . Rooms are cleaned every day. There is AC in each room which is absolutely necessary because it can be very hot

I d wish there was the possibility to cook and prepare small things to eat (a blender, water cooker, a pan for baking eggs...)

a great place stay in mazunte.. it’s only 5ms walk to the beach but still away from all the action there

run by lovely local family. the property was great and clean and quiet. we had our own lovely kitchen and hammock. we had a great 3 night stay. Oh, and the AC was much appreciated.

Incredibly warm, welcoming and clean.

This genuinely has been our favorite place to stay in our 6 weeks travel to México, even though we stayed only two nights (it was way too short..). The family that runs the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. They shared Méxican traditions with us, helped us out with a money issue and so much more. If you ever need a place to stay in Mazunte and feel at home, we highly recommend. Also, the room was very clean, included airco, shower cold but you need that in Mazunte and nice hammock chairs to chill in. (Gracias por todos y un día vamos a regresar para hacer atole y tamales ;) )

Wonderful with the nicest people

The place is lovely. Iris and her mother are super hrlpful and nice. It is very quiet and yet not fat from the beaches and restaurants. I'll come back anytime.

Lovely host and nice location, but be prepared for inescapable heat

The host, Angelica, was very kind and accomodating. She let us store our bags there after checkout for a few hours before we had to leave town. I also appreciated that cold drinking water was provided, and the location was nice. It's a bit outside the main touristy area, so it was nice and quiet, and we got to see some interesting wildlife.

The room was unbearably hot. Even with a ceiling fan and two standing fans, we could barely sleep because of the extreme heat. The bathroom was also very small and hot. The facilities just don't allow for enough air flow: there are no windows in the bathroom and only one in the room. We liked everything else about the place, but unfortunately we were so uncomfortable because of the heat.

Beautiful and peaceful family stay

The place is located inside the puerblo so very peaceful and more local life style. The family is very nice and I felt I was part of them when I left. The room was very clean and well maintained.

A comfortable clean lovely place to stay.

The owners are super sweet and friendly. They made sure I had everything I needed and responded immediately if I ran out of anything like water or toilet paper. It is super clean and quiet. It’s a 5 minute walk to town. I also feel very safe here being a single woman traveling alone. I would definitely stay here again.

The only downside is no hot water. This is fairly common here and you get used to it quickly. :)

excellent staff. Felt so welcomed from the beginning. The lady in the hotel cleaned all the time so the place was shining. Really loved that you got your own tank of water so you could refill your water bottle all the time.

Superb

This was our best stay in the course of 3 weeks in Mazunte/Zipolite. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but this is compensated by true peace and quiet in the night. The facilities with the little kitchen were great, the room stayed cool during the day. It's basic but what more do you need?

The bathroom/shower is tiny but I'm used to that in Mexico, so not really an issue.

Heerlijk in de rust, bij lieve mensen in een schone kamer met terrasje en hangmat. Super!

Enorm lieve mensen, heerlijk rustig, een prima bed en douche en een fijn terras voor je kamer met hangmat. Ik had me geen beter verblijf kunnen wensen in het heerlijke Mazunte. Ik kom hier weer terug! Als je ook een dierenliefhebber bent, help dan aub de hondjes om de hoek. Ze zijn uitgemergeld. Ik heb elke dag brokjes gekocht, voor 50pesos in de supermarkt, 2 bekers water mee waar ze hun lieve snuit insteken en ze zijn hartstikke lief en kwispel kwispel met lieve oogjes, dankbaar.

Excelente estancia! Muy limpio y tranquilo. Angélica fue siempre muy amable y servicial 😊 Recomiendo dormir aquí, es muy pacífico. A sólo 3-5 minutos del centro. No hay agua caliente en la ducha, pero no fue ningún inconveniente! Hay frigo y cada habitación tiene su mesa/terraza independiente. Gracias Angélica!
