My bed was fine and had a quiet nights sleep.
The key entry system seemed to work OK
Heating heated up quickly
Overall just a tired property.
So many things could be done to improve it.Too numerous to mention.
Perhaps take notice of some of the feedback.
Not all feedback is constructive or objective but looking back there is a trend.
We were working and it served a purpose but wouldn't return

Nice warm room. Kitchen facilities.
Friendly host, Kenny !
No breakfast offered as stated just make your own toast…

The kettle, microwave and fridge were clean and worked, as did the WiFi. Parking was fine and everywhere was easily accessible from the property.
Advertised "A continental breakfast is served daily"- A couple of boxes of cheap cereal and some milk instead. Property also advertised porridge & snacks, of which there were none. The oven / hob didn't work as there was no effective means of ignition, and having looked at the extractor fan I think I've found several new species of something which have developed over the several years since it was last cleaned.
It was just about possible to sleep in the bed provided if you ignored the thoroughly worn springs and an equally worn mattress.
Garden views and a terrace? There was a garden and you could view it, but you wouldn't want to do so for more than 5 seconds due to the debris and generally poor upkeep. The property's entry on Booking.com said it offered "View" as a benefit - The only view was of said garden from the ground floor, and the large block of flats opposite from the room.
Advertised a "24 hour front desk". There was a table next to the door, which could be thought of as a desk, and it was there 24 hours a day, but no sign of a person at all.

It was very clean and well located next to a bus stop with good parking for anyone coming by car. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You can even chat in French with the Parisian lady.
It is too far to walk from the centre of town but the bus service is reliable. Best to buy a day ticket for flexibility and nite bus times (every 20 minutes during day but once an hour late evening). Inverness is surprisingly more expensive than similar towns but the walks through town and along the Ness are enjoyable as are the evening music venues. Good base from which to explore. Big problem was that the curtain in the room is insufficient and you can be woken up by string sunshine at 4am! A roll down blind needs to be fitted.

Cosy house, the bathroom was very clean. A very friendly cat welcomed us on the street.
It gives the impression to live in a real Scottish house. For the affectionate there is a chess set in the living room.
From each of our rooms we were able to hear everything that happened in the other ones, even if someone moved on the bed.
The beds are very old and noisy. Poor choice of meals for breakfast: cereals, milk, butter and bread. The price seems a little too high for what we got.

I was not expecting a house on an estate.
24hour conceierge - in a shared house with no staff
Breakfast was a packet of cornflakes on the shelf and milk in the fridge.
Car parking was not secure.

I was fortunate enough to have the whole house to myself, so booked single room but had my own kitchen, living room and bathroom.
Unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable, the mattress, duvet, duvet cover and pillow were EXHAUSTED. The house was safe, very clean and orderly but screamed impoverishment. As the curtains were not lined, even when shut the room was filled with street light. When you rent a bed it has to be comfortable. Neither of the 2? TV’s in the single room worked. Room was clean just out of date in 1980.

This was supposed to be bed and breakfast. Breakfast was if you prepared it yourself with the provided cereals and the frozen bread in the freezer.
No host present. Essentially a three bedroom terraced house on a council estate with locks on bedroom doors. I've paid a lot less for a lot more.

I wouldn't call what's advertised as breakfast much of anything, but it was good to have if needed, and the water pressure in the shower isn't great but aside from that, it was perfect

Stayed for one night. The house is in a quiet, safe neighborhood and the location is very convenient—easy access to the city and nearby transport. The place was clean and functional overall.
However, there were a few issues: the bed was quite old and made noise with every movement, which made it hard to sleep well. The bathroom is shared, which might not suit everyone, and there was no hairdryer available.
It’s okay for a short stay if you don’t mind basic conditions, but some upgrades would make a big difference.

Nothing
Situated in a housing estate surrounded by lockups and flats

Bed was comfortable enough and common space was okay, relatively clean. Ok location, about 35 min walk to town.
Price was way too high for what it is. Did not meet our expectations. Was very close quarters with the other guests and sharing one small bathroom with everyone that’s not very clean. Breakfast was just a couple cereal boxes. Dishes in kitchen were dirty.

I booked a room here purely to sleep during the day for working nightshifts to allow me to have more sleep which is difficult when I use the train to get back and forth to Inverness and back. The rooms are private and I was aware that the bathroom, kitchen, lounge are for shared use for everyone - this was clearly outlined in the property facilities and I did see a lot of negative reviews with people being surprised about other people staying in the house as well. Another indication is the fact that you can select other room options to book as well 🤔. The host was very accommodating and knew about me working nightshift and offered me an earlier check in time which was really kind of him. He emailed me instructions on accessing key safe and obtaining keys to my room which were easy to follow. I just got myself mixed up with house numbers, messaged the owner who was quick to respond and came to the realisation why the code was not working 🤣. I didn’t actually meet any staff at all but that was fine with me as I just focused on getting settled and getting some sleep for nightshifts. The room I was allocated to was perfect for me and was clean, tidy and suited me perfectly. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well on both days. The bathroom was clean, tidy, had a bath with overhead shower and all the essentials things provided I.e plenty toilet roll, hand wash, additional towels. I was also provided with towels in my room too which I really appreciated. The heating system operated on a 1hour timer so if needed for longer, you needed to press the button again which makes sense really when trying not to spend too much on energy bills if someone keeps the heating on all the time. I turned this on once before I fell asleep and my room was warm when I woke up so didn’t need it on. The lounge and kitchen were clean, tidy, spacious and overall the house just had a cosy, homely feel.

The wonderful cleaning lady that helped me with my bags, made me a toast and called a taxi ( I had a broken leg). If you read this, thank You ❤️
It was just ok accommodation, too expensive for the standard in my opinion, but ok on general. Not bad

We entered the property to find a cat in the lounge area and in kitchen, later scratching at our bedroom door ! I note this property does not accept pets. Shared bathroom bath/shower not draining well. Windows would not open in bedroom making the room hot, stuffy and not a good night’s sleep.

Communication with the host. Room was okay size and was clean.
Location was 30/40 minute walk from inverness. There was also a damp cigarette smell as if there had been smokers in the house before.
Also the floorboards and doors creek a lot so if youre unlucky like us and staying with people that get up to use the toilet many times a night then youre in for a bad nights sleep

Breakfast was very sparse, and there was confusioin on my part as to how to access my room. However, a freidnly and very marvelous cleaner happened to be around when I arrived who let me in and later showed me to my correct room. (I had to walk into Inverness to catch a train that morning, but that is another story.)
a better way to register when I arrived

There was only one bathroom for 3 rooms and it was a bit too far from the city centre. Buses would usually come 5minutes late and very less busses available

The worst thing about that property was the noisy and uncomfortable bed which ruined our experience. Everything else was ok including the cleanliness and the rest of the facilities etc. But I would not even pay £50 for a crap property with a rubbish and noisy bed like that. I should be compensated for uncomfortable experience. Thanks
As mentioned above

It was clean and fine. The listing was a little confusing - I did not understand that there would be other guests. I thought that the pictures of the common spaces, like the couch, were included as part of the private space of the listing.
I was emailed the day of my listing, and told to leave a 20 pound note for the cleaning lady. This had never been mentioned prior. That is also an extremely expensive add on. It left a sour taste.

Close to city centre
Parking is on street ( if you find a place you can park)
No hot water at sink and broken shower
The shower holder taped up
Front door lock shows that the property has been previously broken into - does not feel safe
Guests noisy into the night and slept in the shared area ( sofa downstairs)

The location itself was indeed near the town center, which was convenient for exploring the area. Unfortunately, this was one of the few redeeming qualities of my stay.
First and foremost, the rooms were incredibly small. I booked two rooms, only to discover that they were located in different properties nearby. This was quite inconvenient, as we were expecting to stay together as a group. Moreover, the single room I was assigned was exceptionally cramped, barely allowing enough space to move around comfortably.
Another major drawback was the shared toilets. Not only were they small as well, but they also had an unpleasant odor, which made the overall experience quite unpleasant. It's disheartening to encounter such hygiene issues, especially when paying a significant amount for the stay.
Considering the inconveniences and the subpar conditions, it is difficult to justify the price we paid for these accommodations. The value simply did not match up to our expectations, and it left us feeling disappointed.
I would strongly urge the management to take these concerns seriously and improve their offerings. As a guest, I believe it is crucial to receive what was promised and paid for, and unfortunately, this was not the case during my stay.
In summary, while the location near the town center was a positive aspect, the small rooms, separate properties, and stinky shared toilets overshadowed any potential benefits. I regretfully conclude that my experience was not worth the price paid, and I cannot recommend this accommodation to fellow travelers.

It was easy to gain access to this house and I think I was the only person staying there that night. The owner was quick to send me the instructions for getting in.
It was a bit tricky to find at 11pm at night in unfamiliar territory.

bus service was not great, but that’s not anything detrimental to the actual property.

very convenient for what I was in town for and price was great. Kenny was very helpful.
unfortunately you can't do much about who else stays at the accommodation but lucky for me the last night I got a snorer next door.
