Chez Mamouska

The location was good, parking lot available and a very a comfortable bedroom.

Everything was fine.

The house was ideally situated, just a few minutes from a small beach and about 10 minutes from the centre. We had the two large rooms with the shared terrace, so it wasn’t a problem for us. However, I understand that shared terrace can be an issue when staying with strangers, but for us it was ideal. We had the whole floor to ourselves. That was very comfortable. Mamouska was a delightful elderly lady and the perfect hostess. She lovingly served us breakfast in the garden. We were allowed to keep our drinks and food in her fridge. She was very helpful and sociable; unfortunately, she only spoke French and, sadly, I didn’t speak any French, so communication was limited. That’s a real shame, because she’s an interesting person with a fascinating story and a great zest for life. Thanks to her, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
