PERFECT Long Weekend - Extaordinary❣️

Absolutely perfect for us, and the ambiance/energy of the house and location is a little paradise. We were able to disconnect from our busy lives and really enjoy our stay! The view is breathtaking. July and Jean are excellent Hosts and have narrowed down the details to perfection!

The only part I didn’t appreciate….was me leaving! 😉 Not one negative thing to say.

Breakfast Ok/ ordinaire. There was a kitchen in the room. Very nice pool. Really nice people. Quiet at night.

The grill was not really to use and it was placed just in front of a room where guests would get the smoke in their room. You need a car to get there.

The most amazing villa in a wonderful location. The room was absolutely stunning, with a great private terrace with a view to die for. Jean was incredibly kind & helpful during our stay as well. Close to Cassis, walking distance.

A hidden jewel with magnificent views on Cap Canaille

La Demeure Insoupçonnée merits its name - it’s an unexpected hidden jewel offering amazing nature, elegance, magnificent views on Cap Canaille and absolute calm. My room (opposite the pool, with whirlpool bathtub) was decorated with much taste and elegance, luxurious yet simple and in harmony with the surrounding nature. The discreet personal touch by the hosts July and Jean added to the home-away-from-home feeling. In 12 min downhill walk from Cassis, it’s very conveniently situated, away from the overcrowded city centre in summer (and Bolt/Uber offer very fast service even on busy days for those who don’t want to walk up the hill to return). Excellent value for money!

Very relaxing and enjoyable

The property was beautifully maintained with a fantastic view and lovely gardens. The breakfasts on the terrace were exactly as we liked and the room was spacious, clean and well serviced during our stay. July spoke good English and both July and Jean were friendly and helpful.

The only reservation was the location was quite a steep walk up from the town. Taxis were very difficult to access, but there is an excellent service from 'Jennifer' who provided a shuttle service between the property and the local area. Without this, the location would not suit those with restricted mobility.

Truly Exceptional

Everything was exceptional. July was the most accommodating hostess i have ever had. The room was perfect, and the breakfast made every morning dreamy. There's nothing quite like having a hand delivered picnic while overlooking the cliff side! We cannot wait to be back, and spend more time in the garden.

This accommodation is located on a hill above Cassis and it is a good 15-minute walk to reach the center. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it is good to know.

Wonderful in every way ..

The view is breathtaking, the rooms are gorgeous, the breakfast is delicious, but it’s the warm and wonderful reception from the owners, July & Jean, that I will always remember. Jean even drove me to the train station for an early morning train. You will instantly feel like family. I loved everything about this very special place!

Un petit coin de paradis dans les hauteurs de Cassis

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Demeure insoupçonnée. Le petit-déjeuner présenté dans un panier à pique-nique et servi sur notre terrasse était composé de produits frais et locaux. La chambre était spacieuse et décorée avec goût. Notre hôte Jean nous a prodigué de nombreuses suggestions d’excursions à faire dans les alentours.

Wir wurden sehr warmherzig von Jean empfangen und bekamen individuelle Empfehlungen, was wir in der Gegend sehen können. Das wunderbare französische petit déjeuner ist liebevoll Liebe in einem Korb nach den eigenen Wünschen zusammengestellt. Der Pool mit der traumhaften Aussicht auf Cap das Canaille ein Ort der Erholung. Wir möchten auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Nette Gastgeber mit deutscher Gründlichkeit, super Sauber. Service ist auch erstklassig. Frühstück wird auf die Terrasse gestellt. Parken kann man gut und sicher an der Straße, das Wohngebiet ist durch ein Tor abgesperrt. Die Gegend ist wohlhabend.

Das Aparthotel war eine sehr komfortable Unterkunft in bester Lage mit Blick auf das Meer und die Stadt. Die Gastgeber waren sehr aufgeschlossen und stets bemüht, unseren Wünschen nachzukommen, gaben uns u. a. viele nützliche Tipps und Informationen. Wir wären gerne noch länger hier geblieben! Immer wieder gerne.
