Charming hotel in a great location with a beautiful pool

Everything, it was a really lovely hotel, a very short walk from Cassis port, but also a short walk to some lovely wineries. The accommodation was great, loved the decor. My room was a good size with a nice balcony and a great bathroom and separate toilet (bathroom even had a bathtub, which was lovely). The breakfast room was lovely and the breakfast was good. The pool was beautiful, spotlessly clean despite it being just outside of the main season. And, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. If I am fortunate enough to be able to return to Cassis, I would definitely stay again.

Inspiring and comfortable 70s nostalgia

Arriving at the hotel was like walking into a consistently executed 60s and 70s nostalgic place. Furniture, fabrics, colors, tableware and black and white photographs of film and fashion icons. Nothing had been left to chance. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. The room with a terrace overlooking the harbor and the sea that was visible behind the trees was just the right size. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was generous with 70s tableware. Fun! The area was quiet with a short but sufficient distance from the more hectic area by the harbor. Overall, a hotel that was perfect for us having three days of rest after a week's cycling holiday in Vaucluse

Hotel with its own style

Original hotel with à style of it´s own rétro 70,80´s. Good location not too far to walk to the town centre. Secluded swimming pool. Staff were excellent friendly and helpful we felt very welcome. Breakfast was good value with a good selection of regional produce. The bed was very comfortable

There was not too much to dislike, ithe rooms are being mordernised and so some of the furnishings have seen better days, but that did not diminish our stay

Brilliant experience and cannot wait to return!

The staff were excellent and were so kind to us. There were a couple of very difficult guests who did not want our (well-behaved) children in the pool and the manager spoke to them and told them that our children could swim! The hotel is in an excellent location within easy walking distance of the town centre. Very easy to find. Breakfast excellent.

Wonderful, relaxing weekend.

Excellent location, easy 10 minute walk to Cassis port area, restaurants and boutiques. (People with limited ability may have difficulty walking up and down the slight hill as well as the cobbled streets in Cassis). All the hotel staff were extremely pleasant, warm and welcoming and always ready to share helpful tips about Cassis and the region.

I like to have coffee and tea facilities in the room but the reception staff can provide these, if asked. I was also aware that these facilities were not in the room offer when I booked, so this is simply a personal preference , not a complaint.

Excellent base! Bright and a clean retro inspired hotel- Few minutes walk to center

The pool, the location and ease of access to the city center, comfortable bed, private parking, and nice balcony. They also provided towels that can be taken to the beach. We also enjoyed that the toilet was in a separate room.

Small things - the shower needs a curtain. It’s impossible not to get the bathroom floor wet. Privacy- the room windows faced guests while in the pool and so we had to draw the curtains in order to keep from giving the guests a show they didn’t pay for. Bathroom needs a fan/ extractor vent. Questionable art

A very enjoyable stay.

The situation is very good, being a few minutes stroll from the centre of town. Our room had a mezzanine which was ok, but the outside space and furniture were excellent.

The parking bays are far too narrow for modern cars. We escaped with no dints or scratches but consider ourselves lucky.

Adorable

We are satisfied with this hotel as its location is not far away from centre and beach by walking , it has a nice parking place for free to choose .Its surrounding is quietly but not isolated . Kids could play in its clean swimming pool. And their reception is soooo nice and warmly to introduce and present what you consult .

The choices or varieties of breakfast could be a bit more diverse. and a room with new painting has a little of smell , suggest to put some orange-scented or fragrance-based products in the room to remove doors and repel mosquitoes.

Good choice to enjoy Cassis for a few days.

The staff at the hotel are super friendly. We didn't like the room that was originally assigned to us and we got moved to a different room the next day. Close to the town centre and easy to reach with car & public transport.

The pool was closed when we were there and we'd love to come back to see it being open. The breakfast is a bit limited and can do with a few upgrades.

Our stay in October

The room was fine. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good.

The swimming pool was closed and we were not informed of this in advance of our arrival. Also, the hotel was much further from the town than we expected.

The staff were very helpful & friendly. All rooms were spotless & large. The bed was comfortable & the air conditioning worked well. The pool was clean & the seating area well laid out with plenty of sun beds. Great location , approx 7 mins stroll down to the harbour area. Plenty of free parking onsite.

The property on arrival is disappointing and very dated. It feels as if huge investment is needed to update the rooms. The breakfast area was one up from a boarding school set up, and was not inviting at all.

Superb

A quiet hotel with free, private outdoor parking, very close to the center of Cassis. Comfortable rooms with large balconies! The rooms are equiped with refrigerators! We stay in this hotel every time we visit Cassis! I can't comment on the breakfast, we always have breakfast in one of the cafeterias at the waterfront!

The internet was too slow in room 202 yesterday, and therefore I could not watch the news in my computer. I do not know if it is a general problem or the internet is slow only in this room. During our last visit in April we did not have this problem!

Location and service of the staff (Mr who was working night shift) on the counter.

Elevator didn't work when we arrived. The lady on the counter unprofessionally reminded us that it is 3 stars hotel as a way that elevator maybe not required. We had 6 luggage for 5 family members. It was a struggle to get them lifted by stairs. Of course, no help from the Lady on the counter. The room was relatively small and hardly you could walk between beds. Balcony was great.
