Easy transport and good local shops

It was a bit smelly downstairs at the building entrance

Such a lovely flat with two spacious (super comfy) double bedrooms. The flat was so clean and had everything you needed for a stay. Transport links are perfect with a bus stop just on the road outside. It's a relatively quiet area and we loved it. The owner is super friendly and accommodating, quick to respond to messages and gave help with parking options.

There's no fans or cooling in the bedrooms so they can get so hot; we left the windows open but then you have the traffic noise. The blinds are also really poor at keeping the morning light out - so bring an eye mask. Finally, and it's not an issue with the flat, but the apartment next door is a little noisy. Like another reviewer we were subjected to their rather loud pleasure making one evening but after a very long 30 minutes they stopped when we banged the wall! They also smoke a lot in the apartment (flat 9 is split) lobby so getting to the front door means going through a cloud of smoke. Not a fault with the owner but worth knowing.

It is an panel building so apartments are strangely designed and cramped with thin walls so you can hear everything from neighbors and busy street.
