Was okay but will not recommend to anyone i know

The beach was nice

The staff didn’t have a set time on when they cleaned the room they would sometimes clean in the morning other times show up at 5pm knowing that there is a high chance people will be in their room by then and would hardly knock just walk into you being naked. Breakfast didn’t have much if a variety of options, and prices where ridiculously high more expensive than going central saranda to a restaurant.

Nothing that could make me come back to this hotel.

Not satisfied with this hotel considering 280€ per night. I was expecting much more in terms of luxury and service. Is more of a 100€ a night at best for this hotel. Would not recommend this hotel unless u pay under 100€ a night.

Service poor especially at the pool. Not worth what i paid for. Minimalist services.

Magical place by the beach

The place is really beautiful, it has a private beach with lounge chairs and a very pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast is delicious and full of options. The service is top, they make everything possible to make you satisfied. The room is very clean and comfortable and the air conditioning works perfectly. At night there is fireplace with lounge music and you can order food and drinks from the restaurant from the tables on the beach. The beach is very beautiful and ideal for kids. I definitely recommend this hotel!

It’s not a dislike, just a suggestion: the restaurant menu should have more options for people that don’t like seafood.

Not good enough for 4 star hotel

Swimming pool was nice for kids. In the evenings there were beautiful fires in the beach.

Receptionist was rude, did not explain almost anything, looked like bored of her job. Workers did not know to greet the guests. When we got the room it was full of black bugs, even in beds. Those were poisoned and day by day there was less but could not wait from so called 4 star hotel to have this kind of issues. Breakfast was very simple and same every morning. Beach was full of dirt in mornings, but was cleaned by the day.

Happy cecluded paradise

I loved that the beach was very nice, with both easy and a bit more challenging sides, plenty of sun beds included, fast waiting service, good ac, great food. If you want, you can spend the whole time there. If you want the party side of Sarande this is not for you. If you want to chill and enjoy great beach, drinks and food you will love it

There's no public transport access so it's better if you are renting a car, as the taxi to the city can cost 15 to 20 euros one way

A peaceful, scenic stay that made the whole trip unforgettable.

The view was stunning, and the beach was one of the cleanest in Sarande. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to help. The private beach and pool were perfect for relaxing.

Albania deserves to be seen, felt and embraced.

Suggested Rating: 7/10 The good: The hotel facilities are clean and well-maintained. The reception and housekeeping staff are truly outstanding, always welcoming and doing their best to ensure a pleasant stay. The private beach, with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas, is a real gem and a highlight of the experience. Conclusion: This hotel is a great option for travelers looking to disconnect completely, relax, and enjoy the beauty of the Albanian coast. If you’re seeking nightlife or a highly developed tourist infrastructure, it’s better to stay closer to the city center or in Ksamil.

Needs improvement: Access is via a rough dirt road, and it is completely isolated from tourist areas, nightlife, or activities. The breakfast is extremely basic, with little to no variety, and the coffee machine is outdated and unable to serve all guests properly. Suggested Rating: 6/10 Getting to the hotel is the worst part, the area is outside the tourist area and is very pretty and clean, around the hotel there are only old, incomplete buildings and a cemetery that totally spoils all the beauty of the beach

Breakfast could be better, or at least the breakfast must be refilled more quickly and with more careful with the food. During my stay (end of July), after 9:00am, it was very difficult to find the minimum option available.

Great sea view with minor inconveniences

We loved the view from our room, I liked that there was enough room our everyone to sleep and the bed that was removable allowed the room to be more spacious in the day time and the staff were kind ans helpful and the different options for showerheads were convenient

However the bathroom and shower were small and made me claustrophobic and the walk down and up the hill to the beach was tiring and inconvenient especially for families as young kids would not find the walk comfortable the key to the room was too big and the blankets were too small and the restaurant didn't provide many good options as their portion sizes are small and high priced, also even though the view was wonderful there was a building in the process of being built right in front of the hote, also there was only on elevator which meant we had to wait for a long time.

One of the highlights of my stay was the relaxing night vibe on the beach. The hotel had a designated area with a cozy fire pit where enjoy the sound of the waves. This setup created a truly magical atmosphere, perfect for stargazing or having a meaningful conversation. It was the ideal way to end a day full of adventure or simply to let go and recharge. The waiters at Mucobega Hotel 2 deserve special recognition for their friendly and attentive service. They were always there to cater to our needs, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their warm smiles and genuine hospitality made us feel like valued guests, and their knowledge of the menu helped us make the best dining choices. The rooms had breathtaking views. The spaciousness of the accommodations was impressive, providing ample space to relax and unwind. But what truly stole the show was the view from the room.

They need to improve the cleanliness in the room. And if they had a spa it will be the perfect location.

We refused to check in Mucobega 2 because is not on the beach. The rooms are small. There is a graveyard above the beach. That should be mentioned in the description when you book the hotel. They still tried to charge me for the full amount for two rooms for five nights. Even Booking.com wasn’t helpful.

Beach is nice and room big! Parking lot. Reception guy was friendly.

Its definitely not worth 110€ per night. Location is terrible. Hotel is middle in slum, you cant walk to Sarende city by foot. There is no shuttle and taxi is expensive. Hotel has nice pool and beach but super boring, nothing to do. Breakfast average. There is one hotel restuarant, prices are quite expensive and staff is not friendly. Everything what we wanted to eat ot drink on the menu they didnt have. One night was alright but would not go back there.

Extraordinary staff - I will visit again

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned very nicely every day. The restaurant was really good and the waiters friendly, professional and talkative. The beach was nice. But especially the hotel receptionists, both the young man and woman, made the stay special for me. They were more friendly and helpful than one could expect and I had conversations with them about life and culture in Albania. They were extraordinary.

The breakfast wasn't nice, the view of the adriatic sea was ruined with a bad view of a roof of a building full of stored stuff and hanging washings, no security for the rooms, accessible to the street.

The room was very modern, clean, bathroom was also in perfect condition. Air conditioner is new, perfectly working. Balcony with a sea view (someone mentioned in the comments the cemetery: you don't see it if you don't want to, it's in the far left view; main part of it is the sea, beach, hotel restaurant, etc.), pool and its private beach make this place really exceptional. Food was nice, too, they made everything I asked for, even more.. Waiters, receptionists were too lovely, always kind and helpful, I recommend Mucobega 2 to everyone.

From the description on booking you can see that there are bathrooms with bathtub, but unfortunately there are not any. Shower is modern, though, I just prefer bathtubs. This was a bit delusion at the beginning, forgotten later, because all other things were really exceptional
