Loved this place! Amazing location in what feels like a local area away from the overly busy tourist neighbourhoods but still walking distance to sights, metro, lots of bus stops including the both airport bus shuttle options. Gelato and restaurant options in the neighbourhood as well. Erika was a great host, very organized and caring. It’s not glamorous if that’s what you’re looking for. It has character and makes you feel like a local :) Heads up it’s on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator.
The bed was a bit worn in but I just slept in the middle and was fine :)

Great location. So quiet. Owner will make anything to help you. Original building with Roman paintings in ceiling.
No elevator. Watch out if you bring big luggage, you need to manually uplift them 2 floors.

Excellent location just 10 minutes walk from the Vatican.
Very steep stairs. No lift and no-one to aid two 70 year olds with luggage.. No anti-slip mat in the shower, which was treacherous. Not keen on remote hosting through apps and mobile phone calls.
