Staff were so unhelpful and plain rude Only hotel we have stayed at in 6 weeks in Bali which didn’t have scooters to rent Fridge ran out of drinks within a day including WATER - which is completely unacceptable in a country where it is 30 degrees and the tap water isn’t undrinkable Fried eggs were served still raw and see through on top. Hotel staff refused to help us book a taxi on our check out day, and told us to organise it ourself - very weird behaviour and also another first for our time in Bali. No amenities within walking distance Very weird vibe all round with the people working there who seemed like the few guests who were there were almost an inconvenience to them.

Clean Pool, daily room cleaning, walking distance to crystal bay, majority of staff very polite and helpful, if you’re looking for secluded location and confident on a motorbike it’s a good choice.

The food in the restaurant has big room for improvement+there aren’t many other options local as it’s quite secluded,unless you rent a motorbike or pay a driver to bring you out for the day, check in procedure is a bit strange as you’re squeezing through people sitting in the front restaurant.

Good value for money. Not crowded like in town.

Beautiful gem hidden jn the village- close to Crystal Bay beach, however, far out from any other restaurants, marts, etc. There is one small mart and a restaurant in the village, which is nice.

They didn’t replace our coffee cups or towels for the 3 nights that we were there. We asked them, though, and they assisted. Plenty of chickens which get quite noisy at night if you arent used to that. The scooter’s tires are very smooth.

Nice room. Pool area was good. Location was 10 minute walk to the beach.

Some breakfast options were not cooked fresh. Basic amenities. Location was very remote - not much nearby, limited restaurants/shops. Booked a driver for half a day through the hotel, we agreed a price the day before but then the hotel increased the price while we were on the trip without any explanation.

The garden and the pool views were great.

He would have loved to have hand towels instead of using the same ones that we used for having a shower. The motorbike rental service was a bit disappointing: the helmets were rusty and in disrepair. Also the motorbikes weren't the best, and without insurance because they belonged to someone else's, not the hotel.

It was a pleasant stay, friendly staff, clean room, and would highly recommend.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating, the food was amazingggg, even though it says starters the portions are meal size and so affordable. I would definitely recommend staying and eating dinner here! I was given a complimentary drink during my check in which was really nice. The customer service was really good, I had left my adaptor in Bali but one of the staff members let me use his one which was truly a life saver, if you find yourself in a situation where you need help, don’t be afraid to reach out and ask them cos chances are they’ll be able to assist you. My taxi driver who picked me up and drove me to and from my destination was also amazing and super patient. My first day arriving in Nusa Penida didn’t go so well for me, but he was patient and positive. He also helped me a lot with my arrival to Nusa Penida and my stay there.

The location was far from the centre, about 20-30minute drive and costs about 200,000Rp one way using taxi, but on the positive side, it was walking distance to crystal beach. Driveway to accommodation might prove challenging for moped drivers.

It was ok but there is huge potential to do better.

The property is looking great, specially bungalows. The pool is amazing, pool chairs very comfy. I loved boho style.

There were looots of bugs in our room, but the staff agreed to manage the problem. It was not clear when booking that our room would be upstairs. It caused some problems since I was injured and there was no way to solve it. They promissed sb would help to bring our luggage down at night, but none showed up. No breakfast offered.

Gorgeous location, 10 minutes walk from the beach

Lovely villas, just 10 minutes walk from the beach. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice pool, beautiful location. Tasty breakfast and restaurant was decently priced. Food was a bit off and on, but overall good. Perfect for our two nights on Penida. Recommend the snorkelling tour to Manta Point!

Could maybe provide free drinking water so we didn't need to keep buying plastic bottles.

100m back from the beach, very easy to access all the dive shops in the area. Breakfast was very good, and available early before you head out to dive.

Beautiful bungalows next to a local village

Very nice and relaxing place to stay ,, 7min walk to the beach . One the popular places to watch the sunset. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly and attentive staf ( gede and yoga ). They work very hard ( i hope the owner of the property values their contribution to smoth running of this place). They were kind and arranged my next boat trip to gilli T and my taxi.

Best hotel to stay on the island

This place was amazing- it’s like a small paradise in the middle of the jungle but at the same time in a walking distance to the Crystal bay beach - which is the only easy accessible beach on the island. Room/villa was super spacious, clean and beautiful. Swimming pool was gorgeous, we actually preferred to stay at the pool instead going to the beach, as there was dangerous currents and big waves. Restaurant was excellent- very delicious and quick. People from the other hotels also came to this one to have lunch and dinner. The garden is amazing and very well maintained. The sounds of the jungle forest makes the exotic experience complete. The stuff is super nice. My husband forgot his expensive MacBook charger in the room and they’ve sent it by a person who delivered it to Sanur for us. This was so kind. Thank you so much. You are the best!

Worth the money and a good option at Nusa Penida.

Rooms were nice and staff friendly. They had som good food. It was good for 2 nights stay.

Location was maybe not the best of you have limited time on Nusa, I would pick something a bit more close to the sightseeing places. Breakfast could need an update and also the breakfast/reception area could be more cozy and fresh.

Fantastic staff

The staff at this villa were fantastic, they helped us to arrange drivers to and from the villa as well as a snorkelling tour. We even decided to stay an extra night and they were able to arrange this for us. One morning we had to leave before breakfast time and we were supplied with a takeaway breakfast which we were able to enjoy at one of the gorgeous beaches in Nusa Penida. We really liked the restaurant and found it simple and reasonably priced. It was also great to be so close to crystal bay!

There were quite a few bugs in our room. I understand that there isn't much that can be done about this, maybe just warn the guests and supply some bug spray.

Quiet, secluded and comfortable.

The place is immaculate. Very comfortable. Food is average enough, with not many choices locally. Staff were accommodating and provided us with a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early morning. Decent shower. Location is about 10 minutes away from Crystal Bay.

We ate at the restaurant the night of our stay and I asked the staff if we could pay for everything upon checkout and we were told no, that because we are leaving early in the morning that we had to pay now. The following morning we had to pay for the room anyway, so I found it peculiar that I wasn’t allowed add a cost to the room and pay at checkout. Not a massive negative but maybe something to consider moving forward.

Great place for great price

The villa was cute and the pool was amazing it was close for tourist things on the west side. Walking distance to crystal beach which was absolutely beautiful for sunset!

Not so much the accommodation but it is expensive to get to the East side of the island. Definitely better off booking a driver for the day.

On the very first day our host was really good, I am forgetting his name but he was genuinely a good human being.

Absolutely incredible value for money, perfect rooms, all staff really helpful and friendly constantly working and helping customers. The resort is small but perfect, amazing food choices, really cheap. The pool is so lovely. Literally 10 minute walk to crystal bay perfect location!

Rooms couls be better, also our AC was not really workig well so it was a bit hot. Road to the Penida Bay is bad, but all roads in Nusa Penida are like that. Rooms should have a bit more storage for clothes.

Perfect island getaway 🤍

We LOVED this place, it’s an oasis in the jungle! The bungalows are located in the jungle and within a small village. Super clean, daily maintenance and the staff is constantly cleaning, organizing, upgrading. Beautiful pool. Close to Crystal Bay, walking distance. We selected this spot because we don’t want tp drive scooter and it was perfect. They organized day trips for us with a great driver Pandy.

Everything was perfect — only that we didn’t stay longer. If you book, be aware you are in a secluded place and cannot go to any restaurants etc.

If you are looking for an affordable stay close to beach and don't care much about hygiene go for it

The design of the bungalows were nice, place looked cute. It was walking distance to Crystal Beach.

The facility was running like it has no manager. The towels were looking very dirty, the room was dusty and there were dead bugs around. The bed sheet was patched, I have never seen anything like that before. Food options were limited and there are no restaurants around. Wasn't up to my standards, sorry to say but I don't think this place deserves 3 stars.

Is a short walk to Crystal Bay, that was the only positive point about this accomodation.

The accomodation is in a very secluded area, unless you have a driver or a scooter, you are basically stuck there. We couldn't rent a scooter because the roads are really rough in Nusa Penida. The rooms are very basic and I have stayed in hostels with better toilets. There was a day in which the electricity went off and we were several hours without electricity or wifi and the kitchen couldn't prepare any food. Since we didn't have the contact of any drivers in Nusa Penida, we asked the staff if they knew anyone that could drive us to a restaurant or for a day trip. They gave us the contact of a man that overcharged us every single time we required a drive and because we didn't know anyone else, we didn't have any other choice. It was not a pleasant experience overall, specially because I have been to Bali last year and I know what prices should be practiced. We also tried to book some snorkeling trips for two different days, only to be told in the morning of the days we were supposed to do the snorkeling that they were not able to do it. We also requested in the morning to book us a table at a restaurant to watch the sunset, only to be told at 4/5pm that they didn't do it. The staff was very unreliable and unhelpful.

This property is a little slice of paradise! Hidden away in the jungle but also a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff was amazing and helpful in booking us tours around the island and transport to and from the harbor. The food was delicious and they served generous portions. We would definitely return.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that we arrived safely. The food was really good. Definitely try the grilled fish!
