Stunning views and beautifully architected landscapes and bungalows. The staff was lovely and we really enjoyed the massage and the snorkeling trip!
We would have loved if there was more local food on the menu

Penida Bambu Green Villa is an absolute dream. The location is incredibly beautiful – right in the jungle – and the sounds of the temple, animals, and nature made the whole experience even more special. It felt magical and unforgettable.
The accommodation itself is simply WOW. We completely fell in love with the villa – every detail is stunning, and it truly feels like a hidden paradise. The food was absolutely delicious, and the activities offered, especially the massage, were amazing and so relaxing.
The care and attention from the staff were outstanding. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel so well looked after from the very first moment.
An unbelievable experience overall – one of those places you never forget. We would come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed three nights, had the tree house and two other cabbins. Exiting place, everything was build of bamboo! Pool and houses had a fantastic view of the jungle and mount Agung, the vulcano on Bali. The staff, Prisma and Juli was extraordinary helpful and polite, made our stay at Bambi green villas perfect. We had massages, which was really good, ang we rented scooters to get around on the island. Many fantastic places to see.

Everything!
It’s a seriously great place to stay in Nusa and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone travelling to the Island.
Okay so first of all it’s a hotel in the middle of the freaking jungle so yes you are going to see ants and other little bugs! But complaining about these insects when you’re living in the jungle is like complaining about getting wet when going for a swim!
Furthermore, the hotel is made from bamboo so you will be able to hear your neighbours. This was fine for us as all our neighbours were respectful and quiet at night but it did lead to one funny incident where we were literally able to hear the sound of our neighbours having sex one night while we were about to go to sleep 😂
My only real complaint and the reason why this hotel is 9/10 as opposed to 10/10 is that there was no hot water during the duration of our stay. Then again we never brought this up with hotel reception, so it may have been totally our fault for not raising the issue so that they could fix it. Then again I love cold showers and regularly take them at home in Australia; my wife not so much.
Other than that, investing in some blackout curtains would be a wonderful addition to the hotel. But then again, most hotels in Bali do not have black out curtains and I think the general idea is that you’re supposed to wake up when the light comes out. Which is generally correct but different people have different bodies and some people need more sleep than others.
Look but honestly for all my “complaints” the hotel is seriously good bang for your buck. The hotel staff, especially Prisma (an absolute gentleman), are just the most wonderful, humble and hospitable staff we’ve ever had in our entire 2 week trip in Bali and the food you get at the hotel was both exceptional and super affordable at the same time; I personally loved just being able to message Prisma on WhatsApp and having fresh cooked food brought to our villa within a matter of minutes.
Think of it this way guys, once you arrive at Nusa Penida you quickly realise that there are no grab or gojek drivers.

This place was amazing, I chose tree house options and I was not dissapointed - basically could saw whole Bali. The view was astonishing all the times during day, night and early morning. The view from pool is amazing too. The breakfast were very solid. Everything is perfect despite roads to location (from south). So 10/10 overall.
The road to location is not perfect so some private taxi drivers are harder to convince to get you there, but more experienced ones won't hesitate. So plan out staying here in advance as some may be more hesitant. Its not a problem of hotel though, just that it is consequences of its amazing location. If roads will be fixed some day it will be perfect.

Amazing experience staying in the middle of the jungle in this hotel. Lovely bambu little houses. Aircon and mosquito repellent. We ordered dinner and was amazing, also breakfast. The pool is so nice and relaxing. Location is a bit far but you would need a driver anywhere you stay so we didn't mind. Staff was just amazing, super friendly and helpful. Very affordable prices for food. We loved the experience and really recommend it
Loved everything, if I have to say one thing, maybe the room could be a bit bigger, but still it was good for us

Juli and Prisma were treating us like royalty! It was a perfect stay! The views are just crazy, you'll see Mt Agung from the pool and you really feel like you're in the middle of the Jungle which is soo relaxing. Excatly what we needed inbetween our tavelling schedule :)

Unique place to stay. Very relaxing after a day out and about. Staff very friendly and helpful
We stayed in the Tree House and it would be good to have a light switch at the bottom of the steps leading up to the Tree House. At present you have to go up the steps in the dark to put the light on

We felt taken care of even before checking in. They contacted us and shared all the info of serviced available. Once checked-in, Prisma was amazing at handling all our needs
Had to get used to nature’s sounds. Breakfast could be a tiny bit more complete

Stunning location: the entire property is amazingly designed and maintained in good condition.
Huge plus for this accomodation: the service. The Butler service was incredibly over the expectations, from check-in, through dinner, breakfast and check-out. More than perfect, great job!
Given all the incrdibly good notes, we have to say we found a couple of things that could be improved: the wifi was slow or even barely working, and the water in the room shower was cold. We understand that the position of the villas must be taken into account but considering how everything else looks and how it is perfectly managed, we noticed these two things.
Once again, amazing experience.
Thank you!

It is a unique experience where you sleep with birds, lizards and sounds of nature. However, if you are more of a fancy hotel type of the person, this location might be “too much”.
Staff was really nice.
Location is not the best.
Restaurant food was not the best, however had nice wine selection.

Our stay in Penida Bambu Green Villa’s was so great. We really enjoyed the jungle vibe and the cabines are nicely built with a large pool with breathtaking views. The fact that we could choose to have our breakfast and or dinner at the room made it even more magical, sitting outside dining underneath the stars. Not many places in Indonesia allow this. Our hostess Juli and Prisma were so kind. They arrange everything from cab rides to snorkeling tours. We even forgot a cap in the room which they sent to our home! Talk about going the extra mile!

Nice pool
Very noisy, and service was quite slow.
I had arranged transport through the accommodation, but we had to wait more than half an hour, while they knew our arrival time at the port.

Incredible stay from the moment we arrived! They sent a driver to pick us up from the port and take us to the hotel. It’s in a remote location but this makes it perfect for relaxing in nature. They have lots of drivers that are able to take you around to wherever you need to go for a small fee. We booked the snorkelling through the hotel and it was amazing. We saw a Manta Ray 5 minutes into the trip and lots of turtles, fish and beautiful corals.
We stayed in the tree house, which was a once in a lifetime experience that I couldn’t recommend more. The balcony had beautiful views, especially during sunrise, and is surrounded by nature.
At night time, the views are spectacular and the whole sky was full of stars. They offer a variety of food to eat in their restaurant or to have as room service and it was very delicious. I also had a hot stone massage, which was so relaxing.
The staff are incredibly friendly and couldn’t do more for us. If I ever return to Nusa Penida I would definitely stay here again.

Tucked away in the middle of a jungle, this unique place offers tranquility and unique travel experience. Behind this gem in Bali are some of the kindest and helpful staff we’ve ever met. Thank you, Prisma, Juli, and Erwin, for keeping us safe under your care and for making the trip extra special! Highly recommended!

The fact that you have the possibility to live in the middle of the jungle is really impressive and cool.
We traveled with our toddler. She was also very excited about the animals around our villa. In general it was very quiet and to wake up for the sound of the nature was for us a very pleasant experience.

Such a unique experience staying in the treehouse! Amazing staff, beautiful surroundings and view. Nice pool. Room service was a nice touch, and the food was okay. Be prepared for a 'jungle' experience - jungle noises, mozzies, geckos. The outdoor, open air shower was lovely too.
Maybe a bit too rural and rustic for a honeymoon. Not close by to any restaurants or bars and the hotel taxi was a fair bit more expensive than Grab/Gojek which isn't offered in Nusa Penida. The local cockerels starting to crow at 5:30 was a bit intense - bring earplugs!! The treehouse itself was also a little small - if we were staying more than two nights it would have been difficult to manage washing/drying clothes.

Staying at this bamboo house in the heart of Nusa Penida’s jungle was one of the most unique and memorable travel experiences I’ve ever had. Perched on a hilltop, the house offers breathtaking views of the ocean and Mount Agung on Bali – especially at sunrise and sunset. It felt like living in a dream.
The design of the house is fully open-air, made entirely from natural materials, blending beautifully into the surrounding jungle. I loved how close it was to the local village – it gave me a real sense of island life – yet still felt fully immersed in nature. The peaceful atmosphere, surrounded by tropical greenery, was incredibly grounding.
I spent hours unwinding in the pool with panoramic views over the jungle and ocean, and relaxing in the hammock, reading or simply enjoying the sounds of the forest. The on-site spa was another highlight – I had one of the best Balinese massages of my life right there, surrounded by nature.
What truly made the stay exceptional, though, was the incredible butler service. They arranged every detail of my journey – from my transfer from Ubud to the villa (including car and fast boat) to my next destination in Nusa Dua after check-out. On top of that, they helped me book spa treatments and a private island tour, all with effortless care and attention to detail. As a solo traveler, I felt completely supported and stress-free.
The space itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully styled. Sleeping under a mosquito net with the open breeze was peaceful and magical.
Just a heads-up: the road to the house is a bit bumpy, so if you're not comfortable on a scooter, arrange a transfer through the hosts – they’ll handle it all with ease.
For solo travelers, couples, or anyone looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature, this bamboo jungle home is pure magic.

I was really happy with my stay here. The pool area is great and my treehouse was tiny but comfortable (with good air conditioning). The room service food was tasty. Very relaxing and quiet location. I wished I could have stayed for longer! The staff was very friendly and helpful.
I wish I could give this place 10/10 but on my last morning the water wasn’t working, which was an inconvenience (especially because I wasn’t warned, so before I realized it I had put soap on my hands and then had no way to rinse it off). The staff was very responsive in trying to fix the water issue, but it was still an issue and was annoying. Probably just a one-off incident, but it was a negative for me to not be able to wash my hands for the whole morning.

A little remote, but perfect for us.

Bamboo houses were definitely one of a kind. Everything made of bamboo was awesome - even the bolts and joints for the house construction all made of bamboo. Outdoor bathroom with the shower was fantastic. Really gave you great experience. Overall good value for money.
Pool was really dirty. At some point there was tissue / nappy floating in the water. Terribly broken moped, unsafe to ride.

The room was beautiful
The geckos in the room made a lot of noise and we couldn’t sleep very well. The shower was so cold. The road to reach the hotel was terrible, really terrible.

The first thing is the staff. Gopal and Gede went above and beyond to help us. They even gave us an upgrade with the best pool view.
We were offered transfers at the last moment from the Bali airport to Penida Bambu Green which was very comfortable.
The massage was worth it.
Overall expect a relaxing experience with an amazing staff to take care of you.

This place is the best place on Nusa Penida to relaxing. Middle in the Jungle but not so far away from Beach and Shopping.
Each more important Place on the Island is a 30 min to go on a Scooter 🛵.
Service in Villas was the best one that I’ve had in all my Life. (Gopal and Prisma)
