Penida Sunset Ocean View Bungalows

We had such a wonderful stay. The location and views are incredible, with a peaceful setting that makes you feel removed from the busier tourist areas while still being close to everything you need. The owner was exceptionally helpful and responsive, assisting with day-trip logistics and arranging transportation to/from the port, which was especially valuable since Grab isn’t available on Nusa Penida. The on-site restaurant was fantastic, we enjoyed every meal there. There are also several excellent local restaurants within a short 10-minute walk if you’d like to explore other options. We would happily stay here again.

Honestly, very little. The property is located on a hillside, so getting around requires some walking and the roads in Nusa Penida can be rough in places, but that’s part of the island experience rather than a fault of the property itself.

We really enjoyed our stay at Penida Sunset Ocean View Bungalows. The staff arranged transport for us from the harbor, welcomed us very warmly with a welcome drink and took great care of us throughout our entire stay. They also helped us arrange a scooter. At that time, we were the only guests so we had the whole property to ourselves including the beautiful pool with an amazing view of Crystal Bay. The sunsets here were truly breathtaking. The accommodation is almost in the middle of the jungle with beautiful bungalows surrounded by a well-maintained garden so we really felt connected with nature. A delicious breakfast was included in the price and there was also a restaurant available for lunch and dinner which was perfect because after our full-day trips we did not have to go anywhere else. Nusa Penida completely charmed us and it is definitely worth staying on this island longer than just for a one-day trip. We truly enjoyed everything and would love to come back again. The staff was understanding and nice.

The photos on booking do not match the reality. Unfortunately the accomodations are outdated. We checked in and wanted to change the accommodation after one hour since the accomodation was not the standard we were hoping for, based on the pictures online. In our opiniom there was smell of mold in the room. The picture in this review is from the bed under the mattress.
