Not this time... due to building works

The setting was good with its own private beach. Staff were lovely, however due to extensive building works, we cancelled, stayed 1 night and sought alternative accomodation.

The site is sadly currently a building site, with new huts being built which significantly impacted on the environment. Older huts are tired and a little unloved, which was dissappointing. Refurbishment throughout, which I understand is planned will massively improve the offer.

The scenery is beautiful, but the accommodation experience is very bad.

The scenery is very nice, and the environment is relatively quiet, which is suitable for vacation.

There is often no one at the front desk to provide service. The feedback is very slow when the personnel service is needed. We stayed for 2 days, one day the water was very small, and the other day the water was stopped. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the room, and the hygiene is very bad.

Spot is very nice, and that there is direct access to the beach. Breakfast in the restaurant with ocean view

Construction works , no room cleaning, no towel change or trash removal for the entire 4-day stay. The familly room has less space for things

Lovely hidden location

Wonderful location, friendly staff, nice and quiet. Giant Putu and his staff are amazing at organising things/transport etc for you when you need it-he is a great person and so helpful.

Fair bit of construction happening at the hotel-unfortunately it is now losing its old charm appearance a bit, but it will still be a nice place to stay.

Very disappointing visit to the last one we made a year ago.

The location as always, by the sea and the view from the restaurant.

Major construction work taking place, all around our bungalow. Our bungalow was in a poor state of repair and the lighting at the resort at night was very poor and made walking around the resort dangerous. It would seem guests were expected to put up with the disruption.

Simple place to stay

Good people are working there who helped us with a scooter and transfers in/out. The bed was good, and the outdoor shower was great!

There is nothing we did not like. And here I always leave this comment for the places I stay (this is just me): "As a traveller my preferences is good firm bed, good shower, good amount of bench spaces and hooks around to sort my stuff, luggages, and usually, most of the places just don't have things like that, not sure how many people living out of they luggages and how many actually using the wardrobes provided."

Best location for Old-Bali vibes

The best beach in Bali. You can't beat this location for a proper old-Bali feeling. No big buildings, local living with the surf on your doorstep. Helpful staff, good food and all easy on the pocket.

The toilet is in an outdoor bathroom so if it rains you get a bit splashed on.

Perfect and will 100% be back

The location of Secret Point Huts is as good as it gets. The whole team were amazing and couldn’t have been more welcoming. The food and facilities were fantastic. Ceningan is still a very special place and after over 20 years since my last visit, it still hasn’t lost any of its charm

There was a lot of building work happening while I was there. The property did forewarn me about some work happening so it wasn’t too bad but they are rebuilding a lot of hits and knocking down the old ones Once done it will be great. Time of visit Dec 2025

Very nice atmosphere and lovely grounds. Really close to Mushroom bay which is convenient for the boats in and out and one of the best beaches to swim at. Staff were lovely and the huts and pool were great. Great value.

Unfortunately the pool was highly chlorinated and burnt our families skin. I would be very mindful swimming with little children. Also the staff sometimes made it seem like an effort to serve us.

Gorgeous little hotel with a nice feel to it

We loved the location at the end of the island. The restaurant and one pool overlooks the ocean and private beach which was very nice. Rooms are minimalist with a comfortable bed! Staff are lovely and speak good English - very helpful and organised reasonable bikes for us. They also arranged transfer from Kuta to the island with problems.

The location is amazing with the surf at your door. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Great location, be aware of your comfort levels

I just had the most amazing time at this spot! The views are spectacular, and it’s such a chill place to relax. The kids loved the two pools, and the surf was just incredible! Plus, there are some great nearby resorts to mix things up. Don’t miss Mahana Point Restaurant—it’s just a quick 3-4 minute walk, and the sunsets there are jaw-dropping! Watching the surfers while enjoying dinner from the clifftop is an experience you won't forget. Highly recommend it!

I really wanted to love this place, but a few issues held it back, and they seem like easy fixes. The cleanliness of the rooms was disappointing, with spots on the walls that required attention (clearly old, along with the bathroom that we had to clean to use), and the air conditioning struggled to maintain a cool temperature. I appreciated the staff's effort in bringing us a fan, though—they were genuinely helpful! Unfortunately, the breakfast was a letdown. My wife and our two teenage girls refused to eat there after the first day, so we had to go to another resort for breakfasts. It’s a stunning location, but the food quality, cleanliness, and room comfort detracted from our overall experience. If you're thinking of booking, I'd suggest asking for a fan in your room and skipping breakfast altogether.

Could’ve been a great stay but the place is in need of some TLC

Great location

Bathroom was old and not clean. The steps to the stairs moved as you stepped on them. The shower wouldn’t stay on the wall. There were dirty cleaning cloths left in the basin. The room was very tired and felt dirty. The food wasn’t too great either.

The most fabulous spot for a beach retreat

The perfect spot for a quiet beach getaway. Pools to use, beach front, fantastic restaurant, happy hours spots close by and spectacular sunsets. Quiet enough to hire your own scooter to explore the island or head over to Lembongan. Plenty of activities like snorkelling and other water sports available.

This is the 3rd time we’ve come to secret point huts. You just can’t beat the location and price. It’s right in front of the surf break with included breakfast and great huts. We love it here so much! Close to other restaurants and beach clubs too. Price is great for what it is.

The bathrooms are definitely very tired and difficult to get to in the bungalow huts. But for the price and to be right on the beach we love it. Will be back again next year!

Absolutely a hidden gem! Don’t hesitate, you’ll enjoy it.

The rooms are spacious, cool, clean and modern. The outside area’s are beautiful with two pools, one is an infinity pool with a killer view. The beach is just a few steps away, with great tidal pools in the afternoon. The restaurant is good, the views are what makes it special. Also plenty of cheaper and more upscale places nearby (on foot) to try out with also excellent sea views. The owner is very helpful with arranging transportation and tours.

Water faucet in bathroom sink only produces a tiny stream of water. You’d have to ask for fresh towels, but that didn’t bother us as we had plenty (3 nights). Nor do did the bins get emptied during our stay. Nightstand lamp wasn’t working. But these were only very minor things, overall a great experience staying here!

We really enjoyed our ten days here. The staff were great; it was good to have a choice of an Indonesian or western breakfast. The food in general was tasty. The location is brilliant, with a short walk to see the sunset and the huge waves at Mahana Point. The two swimming pools were also great. We would definitely come back.

The floor in the room was creaky so getting up in the night for the toilet usually woke the other person up. Not a major issue.
