We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Split. The highlight was the communication with Ana. She was always kind, attentive, and proactive, providing useful information before and during our stay and regularly checking in to make sure everything was going well. She made us feel very welcome. The location is excellent. It is within walking distance of the Old Town, several beaches, viewpoints, and many restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the city without needing transportation.

The room itself would have been perfect for two people. Since we were three, it felt a bit small, and the main inconvenience was accessing the second bed, which is located above the entrance. Other than that, the room was comfortable and met our needs.

It is very convenient to the old town, restaurants, shops, waterfront. It is small but there is very good use of the space. It was ok for a short stay but a bit too cosy long term. The host was responsive to all communication.

We walked up with luggage from the port. Generally it was an easy walk but there are stairs towards the end, not steep but there are quite a few. Be sure to take the street parallel on your left to avoid the stairs.

Lovely hostess and room was so lovely, really loved the terrace and it’s views.

The main door to the building was left open all night, sometimes with the light on (our flat was at the end so didn’t know this). There are many cats around (which we understand is normal) but one particular cat roaming around the building (it probably belonged to the host, along with a dog). It followed us through the hallway and scratched on our door, when we tried to move it the cat just ran straight back to the door. We didn’t want to open the door and let the cat in our room. We are both afraid of cats so we panicked (one of us is allergic) and were scared every time we entered the property (this happened twice during our three night stay). Additionally, the room opposite us was empty and being cleaned and the door was left open all night and the cat walked around it as if it was it’s own home, and for anyone allergic or who simply doesn’t like the thought of cats being allowed in your room, it is very off-putting. As a group of 2 friends, we were under the impression that the second bed would be made but only the double was prepared and when we climbed up the ladder it was quite dusty and not well cleaned. Also the owner never replied to a question I sent on the first night.
