Lovely

It's a beautiful cabin, and it looks like some work is being done where the tent was.

The heater is terrible, it doesn't throw out any heat and the cabin can be really cold. I've left this feedback before, and I just think it would be really nice if the hotter had a canopy or pergola over it, so it can be used in the winter. This is the second time we've stayed and been unable to use it because of the weather. But it was on and hot just the rain ruined it for us. We even drove around looking to buy an umbrella but couldnt get one. Ashame really. Also maybe the parking could have some gravel or something. It was really muddy and you don't want thar walking into the cabin.

Good location close to local amenities and the town of Aberystwyth. Hot tub was brilliant as we expected a blow up lazy spa, surprised by a full size spa on arrival. Really enjoyed our stay.

The bed was on the small side and very uncomfortable mattress.. didn’t sleep well and both had a bad back and hips in the morning! Hot tub was full of small leaves at the bottom which wasn’t a major issue but could have been cleaned better before our arrival. Shower very temperamental… a bit tricky to have a shower as the water is either freezing cold or boiling hot! Too hot to stand in 🤣

Found it very cosy, was worried it would be cold but was really warm. Views were amazing too, hot tub was set at the right temp also

It was filthy I wouldn’t call it a luxury cabin. My shed at home is bigger and in better condition The bed was covered in what I can only assume was dust and debris The fridge instead of being white looked yellow and I didn’t want to see inside It was very small and everything was tired and old The hot tub and surrounding areas were very unkempt I don’t think the hot tub had been cleaned in a long time there was scum all around the waterline To get to the hot tub the decking was mouldy and slippery The barbecue was rusty and filthy I certainly wouldn’t want to use it

Perfect stay

Wow wow wow I can’t recommend this place enough. We’ve stayed in so many of these lodges and never leave reviews but I felt I had to share how unbelievable this place actually it. So cheap, beautiful, comfortable, everything you need on site, hot tub was soooo warm too. Absolutely perfect last minute stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful any time of day or night. Can’t wait to come back

Nothing not to like. Absolute perfection. But in future would recommend possible fence and gate for dogs to have safe run around the lodge. But honestly it was fantastic

This is the worst stay I've ever had with Booking.com. A complete waste of money, none of the pictures look anything like what you arrive to.

A complete waste of money! The worst stay I've had with booking.com!!!!! Hot tub was broken, no bubbles just hot water, cover was falling apart, none of the buttons worked, it wasn't even the same hot tub as the one in pictures. The cabin itself was extremely dirty, the amount of dust and dirt under the bed and old socks etc was horrendous. No privacy at all for the cabin and hot tub, because there is a yurt wedged right next to it (again not shown in any pictures) The cabin was extremely narrow and the only way to get to the bathroom was climbing over the bed. The mattress was extremely thin and poor quality. Other guests parked right next to our cabin and were starting their car very late and night and early in the morning revving it loudly.

Well for £180 for one night , it’s not worth it at all , I’m sorry it’s a bad review but we genuinely felt so let down .

The property was ok had tv that worked , clean toilet and shower Wish I had read the reviews before booking !!!!

I wouldn’t call it luxury, the cabin is really small , only microwave in room same room as bed .. no cooking facilities.. no sink only a bowl , which u had to get water from the bathroom, to get to the bathroom you have to squeeze by a small place by bottom of bed and duck under the tv , the bbq was filthy pics to show , so we didn’t use that and wasted our bbq food we bought , and the hot tub didn’t work it was just like having a bath .. the water in hot tub was dirty , no lights outside the cabin , I actually slipped on the steps as no lights very dangerous.. the blind in the room we pulled down it was tethered and filthy.. pics to show , the little uht milk pods in fridge was out of date , to honest I could go on and on !!! So disappointed, we were so looking forward for our stay , we have stayed in many lodges and never had to write a bad review, this cost us £180 for 1 night basically I’m overall vey disappointed

Diabolical

Nothing as once it was booked and paid for they rang me and told me they had double booked us and to sort it out our selves through booking.com. I was already in wales so had to pay for another accommodation on top of this one. Was very disappointed in the way it was handled.

The worst stay in my life

It was about 25min away from Hafren forest

I booked this accommodation specifically for a weekend getaway with a hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub didn't work—the lights were off, and the jets weren't functioning. Later, the temperature dropped to 32°C, making it unusable after our hike. Additionally, the bed was so close to the wall that you had to climb over it to reach the bathroom. The sink tap didn't have warm water, either. The entire stay was awful. The price of £320 for two nights was shocking. Despite requesting a late arrival around midnight, I had to call the owner because they didn't provide the key code. What a nightmare!

the hot tub was luke warm and very small - also the hot tub pump was very noisy and could hear it all night from inside the cabin. The cabin was very small, bit of a stretch to call it a luxury log cabin. Is more of a fitted out shed. BArbeque grill pretty grubby too. No sink in kitchen area for washing up. Sink available in bathroom. Internal space quite cramped, only one seat inside. Quite hard to get past the bed without banging your head on the TV.

Disappointed with hosts

The location was close to Aberystwyth.

We were clearly not in the accommodation we booked. I have the photos on the booking form. The hot tub did not work, and the hosts really didn't care. As this was a major reason for booking this accommodation, it was a great disappointment. After several phone calls, nothing changed except the hosts trying to work out where they had put us. I felt the hosts were in it for the money and not the customer experience a simple apology or even coming to see if there was anything they could do to make our stay easier would have been something. I would not recommend this accommodation at all.

We paid for the experience to stay in a luxury wooden cabin because we have never done it before, we turned up only 2 arrive at the cabin looking through the window and there was people in there,so I rang the office and asked about it just to be told that we wasn't staythere and they upgraded us to a cottage,we wasn't told this through email or phone call only when I rang when we arrived the whole point of the night away was to experience the romantic getaway cabin and we never had the chance to do so very poor communication and very disappointed

Nice but not luxury!

Lovely and cozy on the inside, hot tub was amazing! Some pretty views depending on where you stand!

Upon arrival the cabin was painted brown instead of the lovely wood colour. BBQ could do with a clean also a knob missing from the BBQ and wouldn’t light on the left hand side. The table outside had a burn mark on it and not sturdy. Hot tub lights didn’t work! No lighting by the hot tub which means it’s in pitch black, we had to get an extension lead and the bedside lamp to put outside so we could enjoy the hot tub. The only light outside for the hot tube is motion sensor! The light by the parking bit did not work at all. Dust around the bottom of the lamps, quite a few cobwebs in the cabin, dust behind the tv on the wall mount. Dirty blind, black stain on bathroom door at the top and on the other side of the door was dirty. No hooks in bathroom to hang towels, loo roll holder was flimsy! The shower head holder was broke and was held up by a hair band! Hairs the shower. Not enough room to walk at the bottom of the bed, me and my partner kept whacking ourselves on the tv, also the tv remote didn’t work. There is a tent opposite the cabin and if someone was staying in it the cabin/hot tub wouldn’t be private! The fence round the hot tub could be doing with being higher as the bushes are over grown. Heaps of mud piles right over the wire fence. Only sink to use would be the bathroom sink as no kitchen facilities. I would definitely say this is over priced for what it is.

Very disappointed, rugs soaked in cat urine, smell was awful . Dirty floor, mouldy food under cupboards and bed . Used sanitary towels outside!!! , not dog friendly at all , dog became ill from eating mouldy food left behind.No cooking utensils!? Blood stain on pillow case . Sunken floor and mould in bathroom, no extra towels blankets and 1 toilet roll for 7 night's? .Worst place I have ever stayed.My dog is still poorly from used tampons left outside.Disgusting ! Worse place I have ever stayed. Not dog friendly,no fencing and dangerous. Complete rip off , dirty and disappointing 😞

There's no privacy we caught a couple standing and staring into the lodge everyone can see each other in hot tubs there was just flies every where every time we got in hot tub had to get out because we got attacked by flies we had to leave a night early because we could not take it and the BBQ was rusty dirty and old not useable at all was also covered in flies was so disappointed even the kettle had dead bugs inside so upset
