The Pod

Great pod, conveniently located on the site and near to main town. Clear and well equipped. Maybe a gas bbq would of been better as could not use unless going back out and getting coals etc. Everything in kitchen you could need.

It’s a great place to stay and in a great location, I asked if they could put up some banners for my partners birthday as a surprise and they did! We both loved it as a small get away. Everyone we spoke to at the campsite were lovely.

Lovely clean pod and jacuzzi, very clean and well maintained site , very quiet at night , pod is really good as full enclosed and private with your own car park space thank you for a wonderful stay 😁

The pod itself is very nice and comfortable. There were some slight cleaning problems, the BBQ grill wasn’t clean and there were leftover shoe hangers in the cutlery drawer. The bed was super comfy. The hot tub was ok, only one seat worked though. The picture shows astro which wasn’t the case when arrived and because there is a large fence surrounding the property it made us feel hemmed in.

The campsite was one of the worst campsites I have ever encountered. The location is poor, backing onto a housing estate. There were certainly long term tenants on the site. Only one toilet open during the day. The lodges were in a really bad state. Sadly, the reviews on booking.com only review the pod and not the campsite. We only stayed one night and left the following day (should have been there for 3 nights).
