The Beekeeper's Cottage was absolutely perfect for my stay in Cornwall, with my well-behaved dog. Jane, the owner is absolutely lovely and very welcoming & I was treated to a jar of her own delicious home produced honey on arrival.
The cottage is very cute, tastefully presented and exceptionally clean; I was also pleasantly surprised by the very pretty lawned rear garden (small, but perfectly adequate), accessed via french doors off the living room. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, broadband reception was also great and I could easily work from the cottage without any issues. The kitchen is compact, but very well appointed and has everything you might need, apart from a dishwasher (not an issue for me). Parking is on the road opposite the cottage and I was always able to park without any issues.
As I was working for some of my time there, I found the private and quiet location perfect; close to neighbouring countryside for dog walks, but also providing easy access to excellent amenities including a well stocked local shop, lovely chinese take away and fish & chip shop all within walking distance (10-15 mins, or 2 minutes in the car). Surprisingly, there is also an M&S Food Hall just 6 mins away! The cottage is also just an 18 minute drive away from the centre of Newquay and around a 30 minute drive from Padstow, so it was very easy to cram more exploring into my trip.
I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Beekeeper's Cottage.

Fantastic little cottage in a prefect location to explore all areas. Clean , comfortable and with all the essentials you’ll need. Ideal for dog owners who want a secure rear garden.

Very clean and cosy. Good location for visiting The Eden Project, St Michael's Mount, Tintagel, The Lost Gardens of Helligan and Newquay all in the same short trip. Also Jane made us some lovely scones!

Lovely cottage in a good location - near a lot of interesting places (new quay/ padstow/ fowey all short 20-30 min drives), On the rainy day theres a great fish and chip shop and large m&s a mile away. Free parking. Good sized cottage with all the necessary facilites and very pretty enclosed garden. Incredibly quiet, good comfy bed for a great nights sleep. Great value for money. Lovely helpful host. Will stay again.
