A 'Home from Home'

Very welcoming hosts. Plenty of space, and felt like a home away for the 6 days. Definitely would stop again as a base for touring; most places in easy reach - beaches, Padstow, Newquay etc. Nearby pub did good food.

Not really 'Didn't like', but parking could have been a problem had it not been for the 9-6 M-F parking bays nearby. Minor point was no shaver point in bathroom.

A Peaceful Gem with Character and Comfort! What a fantastic stay! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—if not even better than expected. Every detail had clearly been thought through, making it a super comfortable place to unwind after long days of exploring. While the mattress was a little soft for my personal taste, that’s just down to preference—everything else was spot on. The location is tucked in a charming old West of England town full of character and peaceful vibes. It’s perfectly placed for adventure too—you’re only about 20 minutes away from several beaches and surrounded by spots worth discovering. The hosts were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which really made the whole stay feel even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, relaxing base with plenty of charm and adventure just around the corner. I’d absolutely stay again!

Clarendon House Suite

Really comfortable accomodation. Loved the quirky decor and beautiful bathroom. Any issues from an earlier review about the privacy of the bathroom has been completely resolved with a new lockable door in the corridor making it a completely separate suite. I cant praise it enough. The hosts were lovely -easily contactable if needed. We didn't need anything though. It was the perfect retreat.

Lovely place with the most accommodating and kind hosts.

This place was so nice it was clean with all the amenities you would need. The heated bathroom floors and heated blanket were a treat. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked there’s a lovely piano and a tv. It’s a minute away from the the local co-op so if you want to cook you can. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. And I can’t recommend this place enough!

It can be a bit noisy with the bell ringing from the local church, but honestly it’s not bad at all.

disappointing and not as advertised!

the mattress was comfy.

not as advertised. The bathroom was within a communal area (the hall) not within your room. This is not best described as a private bathroom as although you do have exclusive access; I would not feel comfortable leaving anything within the bathroom as anyone could access it from the other “suite”. I also did not feel safe showering as the door was partially frosted glass but with areas where it was not frosted meaning anyone from the other suite people could see in. I have a bladder issue and got the toilet quite frequently during the night, this was an issue for me with a bathroom in the communal area. The room itself and the bathroom were clean, however the smell on entering the building was overpowering of damp and some foul odour I could not describe. It was overbearing! Not being able to control the heating was frustrating. i was absolutely freezing during the night and had no way to remedy this. If you were only staying for a night it is no good saying you can be contacted if the problem occurs at 2am in the morning. On booking.com it needs to be highlighted more that there are two separate properties as I don’t feel that is clear and that they are linked by a communal hall.

Beautiful, quite relaxing space. The gorgeous paintings on the walls really made me feel at home.

I loved the quiet space yet being so close to the village and delightful church. The bath was deep and delicious allowing for proper comfort and relaxation.

A selection of different teas would be even better and perhaps those little UHT milk sachets.

Scoperta casualmente, ci torneremo sicuramente!

Alloggio completo di tutte le comodità (c’è anche una nuovissima lava asciuga della Samsung!). I proprietari sono davvero accoglienti e la posizione della struttura è comoda per visitare sia la zona nord che sud della Cornovaglia. Proprio a fianco troverete un pub e a pochi passi un supermercato aperto fino alle 23 anche di domenica.
