What a lovely lil place!

Beautiful 250 year old building! Nice garden to relax in. The couple who own the place make you feel totally at home. 10 min walk from the old bazaar. If you plan to travel on to Valbonë (we paid 35 euro for two people) or Fierze they can call a guy who will take you.

The twin room is a bit noisy and gets rather hot! But if u don’t mind that it’s very decent and clean

We loved our stay in this guesthouse. Our group booked out the whole place and we were made to feel like family by our hosts. They were engaging, kind and friendly but at the same time respectful of our privacy. The house is an historic family home and the rooms beautiful. We shared a reasonable sized bathroom and had a lovely outside area to enjoy many evening conversations. The location was perfect for sightseeing. It is not far from the bazaar and other historic sights. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing it was lovely. But people with mobility issues would find the stairs difficult.

A perfect night in one of the oldest tower houses of the city! Xaga was very welcoming and the room very confortable. I really recommend to stay here to know more about the history of Kosovo.

What a Gem!

The family that owns Kulla Dula are some of the sweetest and most genuine people you will ever meet. They are so warm and welcoming that you'll immediately feel at home. They go out of their way to make sure you'll have an enjoyable stay. Everything was super clean and really comfortable. Plenty of hot water and excellent wifi. Rooms are really well done with lovely furniture and comfortable beds. The use of the kitchen was such a nice bonus. This is such a gem of a place and I can't recommend it highly enough.

- There was miscommunication regarding payment. I would recommend that when guests are checking in you discuss payment then, no discussion was had. On the last day my friend needed to leave and no one was around to pay. - No introduction was provided regarding use of kitchen or fridge.

Happy atmosphere in a big villa

Amazing 200-year-old villa with so much character. When you do your homework properly, you do find gems like this. Hosts were friendly and the house cat was neutral. I had booked the first nights in a smaller room, but was upgraded to the grand room immediately at arrival. Laundry service available.

There are three rooms upstairs for guests, one is a dorm, so the one and only upstairs bathroom is often occupied.

Wonderful guesthouse with amazing hosts. Best place to stay if you're visiting Gjakova.

This is one of the best accommodations I've ever had. I can't even express how nice it was, it felt like we were part of the host's family when staying there. The owners of the house is a lovely family who always make sure that you're having a wonderful stay. The house is really old and cozy and has a long history (such as sheltering refugees during the war). The hosts took me and my friend on daytrips to nearby places (nature, war memorial etc), and helped us arrange transportation to Komani lake, Albania the day after. I'll definitely come back one day.

Light shading (curtains) was a bit weak. If I could make the room darker in the morning, that was perfect.
