A pearl of a hotel.

Great location in the old town and only a short walk from the bus station. Staff don't speak much English but are very accommodating and welcoming. The room was basic, but good for the money. We really enjoyed having a balcony, great people watching whilst eating delicious goodies from the local bakery.

Stay somewhere else

The location was excellent.

There was private parking advertised but on asking, I was informed I needed to use one of the paid parking spots in the road behind the hotel. On arrival the footpath in front of the hotel made the front door inaccessible, these workmen were excessively noisy and did not cease work until 9pm. The shower was tiny and leaked all over the bathroom floor. The bathroom floor had a puddle of black water round the drainage hole in the middle of the floor. The shower screen had broken away from the wall. The only accessible power point could not be reached by the kettle cord. There were ants crawling around the floor. There was no lock on the sliding door to the balcony. It took all my strength to try to open this door to access the balcony.

The staff is very kind, but that’s not enough to have a comfortable stay. impossible to sleep because of the noise comes

I thought great value for the money.

I booked with some trepidation based on reviews but it was clean, centrally located and easy to find from the bus station. Staff were nice too and it had a great balcony!

1. Staff was rude 2. It was not clean 3. The bed sheets were terrible, cheap polyester. The base layer kept on comming off, meaning the body was laying directly on the base mattress with no covers, so anyone who slept there you are basically sleeping on an uncovered mattress which was old and looked dirty. 4. The floor in the bathroom was wet, there was leakage from the bath, sink and toilet. 5. There were open wires on the wall and sockets, i did not dare to use the wall socket on my bed side, looked hazardous. 5. The cupboards were dirty and had random things there. 6. The blinds were not great, you got a lot of sun in early morning, but this is more of a personal preference. All in all, not a good experience. This is the worst hotel I have been in and to be clear this is not even a 1 star hotel, despite what they say.

There are better options than this.

The location is perfect but the lack of investments in this place sucks, we couldn't enjoy that. In the room you have a kettle with coffee or tea and that was cool. Bed is ok, but the sides are mehh.

The biggest problem is the sound. The window by the road cannot be closed completely. (Soundproof in the details is a joke) The Air conditioner had a smell when we opened it and that was awful. No hair dryer 🙄. They keep saying the hotel is in restoration but from the reviews I realized that they keep telling this for months.
