About this house rental
With its cool modern retro design and secluded on a cul-de-sac off the beaten path, this spotless home is ideal for family time and a relaxing beach getaway.
Street side, you’ll pull into an open carport where right away you’ll see the beautiful private saltwater pool located right on the water’s edge. The pool has an incredible view of the bay and an artistic paver deck. Sitting at the end of the private pier, you’ll enjoy the majestic sunsets, or comeback poolside for outdoor dining on the covered porch area. The home’s carport entrance leads up the stairs to the main level living area. This space is light and bright with high ceilings, a cool color palette, and unique decorative artwork providing punches of color.
Bedroom 1 is to the left of the stairs and has a queen bed, 1 full futon and a private bath with unique penny tile shower/tub combo. There is a half bath in the hallway that services the living/dining areas. The kitchen has a very sleek design with two full-sized refrigerators, double oven, breakfast bar with electric stove top, a Keurig and a Mr. Coffee Maker, and a wine fridge. It is open to the living and dining areas and filled with natural light from the many picture windows. This space has plenty of seating at the large dining table and comfy couches in front of a wall mounted flat screen TV. This central living area opens out onto the shaded main level deck. With a full-sized dining table and scenic views overlooking the pool and water, this deck is the ideal spot for cocktails and breezy outdoor living.
Upstairs is bedroom 2 and offers a queen bed and private bath with colorful glassed walk-in shower. Past the hallway laundry area is bedroom 3. This is an awesome space for kids with five built-in, bunk-style twin beds. It has a private bath with a really cute blue penny tile design. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed with a really mod private bath and more of the retro penny tile, this time in a cool green. A short hallway leads to the master suite. This room has a king bed and opens to a private waterfront balcony. The master bath can only be described as modernly palatial. There is a double vanity with raised sinks, a large walk-in closet, separate toilet, and huge glassed in shower. Steps lead up to the sunken tub where you can literally lose track of time soaking and enjoying the pristine waterfront views from the tub side windows.
This house really is the perfect blend of retro and modern, the main emphasis on comfort.

Our family stayed here 14 years ago. It was great then and it is still great. The only downside now is they built a house to the west of property and there is no privacy fence like on the east side. There are some things you don't want to see of your neighbors. They should really build one and there will be no downsides. The house was immaculately clean!

We had a family vacation last week and had a great time. The house is perfect for large families, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and a large kitchen and great room. Here are my pros and cons:Cons:1. Parking is ok but this house is in a cul-de-sac and the neighbors park in the street and make it hard to get in and out of the neighborhood 2. Pool is ok by very small3. Not a lot to do in Pensacola for little ones. We had grandkids and they were board.Pros:1. The view of the Santa Rosa Sound was great! 3 levels to sit on and watch the boats2. If you like the beach but don’t want to stay on the beach, the access is easy. Walk to the entrance to the neighborhood, cross the street, one block to the access and you are there!3. Blue angels. Obviously watching the Blues from the pier is the best but if you don’t want to fight the crowd, you can always watch it from the decks or walk to the beach across the street. Overall we had a good time but we will probably go back to Orange Beach next year because there is better beaches and a lot more to do for the kids!

one of two refrigerators didn't work, toaster didn't work. Pool lights didn't work. Cable TV only in the living room. Not all bedrooms had a TV. The mattress in one of the bedrooms needs to be replaced. We went to local hardware store and purchased a sheet of plywood to put under the mattress to provide some support. Pool is nice, the property location is nice but I would not rent this property again.
