About this house rental
An ideal house for small events, this 2,920 square foot home sleeps up to 16 people and is directly on the Gulf of Mexico.
The front entrance at 1004 Ariola Drive, with its grand double staircase and wrap around porch, leads into the open and spacious kitchen, living, and dining area. The kitchen, furnished with stainless appliances, lots of prep area, and a large breakfast bar, opens up into the living/dining space. This space includes three comfy couches, an arm chair, and a dining table seating up to 10 people.
The master bedroom is located off the living area. This bedroom opens to the Gulf side deck, and the huge master bath features two pedestal sinks, separate shower and garden tub, and an oversized walk-in closet. A short hallway past this bedroom leads to a large laundry room. Across the living room, bedroom 2 has a queen bed and large private bath. Bedroom 3 has two sets of twin over twin bunk beds. Here there is a large hall bath that also services the living area. Bedroom 4, also known as “kid paradise,” is located up the stairs on its own upper level. This bedroom has two bunk beds with twins on top and Fulls on the bottom, and an additional Full bed. The windows in this bedroom overlook the great room downstairs. The large hall bath has a double vanity and the arched windows on this level make it a very unique space.
The Gulf side deck offers a full sized dining table, a gas grill, and lots of seating. There is an outdoor shower and the covered area below the house is large and open for lots of parking or event space.

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is as about as good as it can get for a laid back beach experience away from the big crowd. The house was very clean and has plenty of living space for multi families to hang out comfortably. My tips to make it better would be to put AT THE LEAST one decent mattress upstairs so an adult couple can sleep comfortably. My other suggestion would be to consider changing the check in/out policy to give people a few more hours. The policy of check in @ 5PM BUT check out by 10AAM is basically taking a 1/2 day. I realize you have to have some time between customers, but 7 hours seems excessive.

The house is nice, bedrooms are set up a little wonky. Unfortunately, the weather was unusually cold this December when we visited. The fireplace did not light, the furnace didn't get warmer than 64 degrees, the two bedroom on the side of the kitchen on the main floor had no heat at all and we could see our breath at night. There were extra blankets in the closet and one space heater for the entire house so we put it in the room where the kids were. We spent two days with coats on in the house. Because it was Christmas we didn't see it as an "emergency" to contact the property management company. We didn't want to take them away from their families. I left a note with the keys when we dropped them off. Hopefully they have the furnace serviced and supply more space heaters for the future renters. The view is beautiful and the house has all the kitchen items you can prossibly need. No other complaints.
