Great location, super facilities and very comfortable accomodation

The accommodation was very spacious and modern. We liked all the rooms, each bedroom was spacious and the two facing the sea had amazing views. The kitchen was fully fitted with an extensive selection of kitchen ware and as a bonus an additional fridge which was great for storing drinks. The living room had two very comfortable sofas and an arm chair, all looking out on to the sea view. At the end of a long garden area there was a large seating arrangement which we enjoyed sitting at each morning and evening, watching the sailing boats.

The mattress in the bunk bed room was uncomfortable.

although it’s a great place, if I had a wish list on a couple of improvements, they would be: a larder fridge instead of the grey small fridge freezer as this would be perfect for a family of 5+, and second: more powerful showers!

A different side of the Lake District

The house is very comfortable, charming and in a great location with wonderful sea views. Ideal to explore the great beaches and nature reserves of the coast but still close to mountains and lakes. Thank you very much for our stay because it was very special.

The property is great and hard to improve but I would suggest a blind in the top room roof window.

The area is gorgeous, the island and the house are beautiful. There is so much to do in the area

It's really hard to get in touch with the owners. I had requested a travel cot and couldn't get hold of anyone to confirm there was one there. We ended up bringing our own just in case, but it was there in the cupboard.

Would only stay here for a couple of days as lack of freezer really impacted our stay.

Lovely modern property in a beautiful location. Spacious. Would only stay here a couple of days due to lack off freezer.

No Freezer. This information should be highlighted at the top of information on both bookings and skyes sites as well as on confirmation emails sent,not at the end. Lots of room for a chest freezer or upright fridge/freezer. The owners choice not to put one in. This had an impact as only a undercounter fridge with very little storage available. Not good for self catering accomadation sleeping 6 people. Had to throw speciality brought halal meat,chicken,kebabs etc. Also had to make more shopping trips than planned. The single beds in property are uncomfortable. too firm. Teenagers did not sleep well. Need mattress toppers or extra duvets on top.
