House Flora is a romantic, restored Ligurian stone house on the hills of Levanto in the Cinque Terre nature reserve. It is at the edge of the small village of Fontona, 3 km from the ocean, right on the hiking trail Levanto-Monterosso in a very quiet area with a beautiful panorama. The house has a large terraced garden with olive trees, blooming flowers and a lawn. The house (80 m²) has 3 bedrooms (2 single beds, bunk bed, French bed 140 cm), living room (satellite TV, radio, CD) with fireplace and wood stove, eat-in kitchen (dining table for 5-6 people, microwave, coffee maker), bathroom (shower, washing machine), an outdoor kitchen and loggia as well. We loved the house and its stunning garden, and wonderful views. It was absolutely perfect for relaxing in the shade in the afternoon and for its peace tranquility, which is exactly what we were looking for. We loved being able to cook outside and that the house was pleasantly cool at night. We booked at the last minute and the owners were very kind and helpful in putting the arrangements in place at short notice, and their insider tips about Levanto and the area in general were very useful. We will definitely return!

We (two adults and two children of 6 and 3) spent one week in July in this amazing house. The problem with this house is that your are tempted to spend the whole week enjoying the beautiful garden, the lovely house and sitting on a chair watching the fabulous landscape and that you just forget to visit all the rest. The children did not miss a swimming-pool or a swing at all. The house and, especially, the garden were more than enough for them. Besides the house, we especially liked the long walk from the house over het mountain-ridge to Punta Mesco and then down to Monterosso. We had a great week and we would really like to come back. 'Dahin, dahin möcht' ich mit dir ziehen!'

Everything about this house is perfect, and in correspondence to what it says in the description. A little extra that you wouldn't realize when you see the description, however, is the magnificent view over the valley above Levanto that you have from the garden, towards all these pink and rosa villages that sound their church bells throughout the day without apparent synchronization. Great!

Une maison ancienne pleine de charme et que l’on sent habitée. Un jardin aux multiples arbres, arbustes et massifs, et de nombreux recoins aménagés pour en profiter… pour nous c’était vraiment une maison de rêve. Proximité des Cinque Terre sans la foule, nombreuses possibilités de balades… Levanto toute proche est une jolie petite ville où l’on trouve de tout. Surtout que Maurizio et Caterina ont généreusement partagés leurs bons plans en tous genres. Un grand merci pour leur accueil.

Abseits der Touristenhochburg Cinque Terre und doch sehr nah an den Sehenswürdigkeiten liegt dieses wunderschöne Steinhaus mit gepflegtem Garten und herrlichem Blick in die Berge. Nach Levanto ist es gar nicht weit, auch in Bonassola oder Monterosso ist man mit dem Auto schnell. In der Hauptsaison allerdings kann es mit Parkplätzen sehr knapp werden. Wer Meer und Berge sucht, ist hier richtig. Wir, Familie mit zwei älteren Kindern, haben hier eine Woche in der Nachsaison verbracht, als die Touristenströme schon merklich nachliessen. Ein Auto braucht man fast zwingend, um nach Fontona zu gelangen, ausser, man ist sehr sportlich und geht gern 45 Minuten/ 200 Höhenmeter zu Fuss nach Levanto. Das Haus ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht, und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren hauptsächlich wandern, das Haus eignet sich sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt, und im Meer baden. Gegen Mücken sollte man gut gewappnet sein, die gab es in der ersten Oktoberwoche überall reichlich, vor allem am Abend.

Ein ruhig gelegenes Rustico mit weitem Blick in ein grünes Tal mit mit hübschen Dörfern! Perfekt zum entschleunigen und top Ausgangsort für Entdeckungsreisen in die Umgebung. Sestri Levante, Portofino, Rapallo , und viele schöne Orte mehr. Allerdings muss man den ‚Rummel‘ den es in den Cinque Terre Dörfern gibt ausblenden können oder schon mit dem ersten Zug um 7.30 Uhr losfahren. Umso erholsamer ist das zurückkommen in das Haus! Es ist typisch italienisch-mediterran eingerichtet und hat sehr viele authentische Accessoires sowie hübsche Bilder und eine schicke Vintage Einrichtung die in ihrer Schlichtheit erstmal spartanisch aussieht, aber sehr charmant ist! Der Garten läd zum Entspannen ein und gibt genug Ecken für jeden her. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ! Vielen Dank Catharina und Maurizio :•}

Uns gefiel das alte haus sehr gut. Nur war es leider zu kalt um die Draußenküche und den Garten richtig nutzen zu können. Wir haben fast alle vom Haus aus zu sehenden Bergdörfer erwandert, eine einsame Kapelle entdeckt und uns sehr über die ganzen Frühblüher gefreut. Die Altstadt von Genua zu erreichen mit demZug in einer Stunde und gerade mal 6,60 Euro pro Ticket war maximal beeindruckend. Sestri Levante ein sehr schöner Ort mit großem Strand. In Levanto haben wir in dem tollen Gemüseladen am Ortseingang so leckeres lokales Gemüse gekauft (Zitronen, Orangen, Artischocken, Spargel, junge

Herrlich

Wir verbrachten 10 unglaublich erholsame Tage in diesem wirklich schönen Häuschen. Kein Luxus, aber sehr authentisch und mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Bis auf eine Spülmaschine wirklich alles vorhanden. Sehr ruhig, abgeschieden und trotzdem ist man in 10 Minuten in Levanto und am Strand. Auto ist allerdings für alles (Brötchen holen etc....) zwingend erforderlich. Uns hat es mit Kindern und Hund sehr gut gefallen.

We spent a perfect week of holiday in Haus Flora. The house is very well equipped and we have especially appreciated the garden and the terrace with a view on the surroundings. The place is very calm and close to Levanto, that is an ideal base to visit Cinque Terre National Park. In the house, we have found a lot of precious information about the park and other things like the best restaurant, the place to buy the best fresh pasta,… All these information were true. Wir verbrachten einen sehr aktiven, aber auch entspannten Urlaub in diesem typisch ligurischen Steinhaus mit großem Garten und einem wundervollen Blick über den Talkessel von Levanto mit den umliegenden Bergdörfern. Levanto eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in das Gebiet der Cinque Terre und für Ausflüge entlang der Küste. Die Anbindung an das Bahnnetz ist optimal. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter verlief unproblematisch; sehr aufmerksam und hilfreich waren seine ausführlichen Informationen bzgl. Einkaufs- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Vielen Dank! Super Ort um die 5 Terre zu geniessen

Wir fühlten uns im kleinen, aber sehr gemütlichen Haus sehr wohl. Alles war sauber und persönlich eingerichtet. Einzig mit meiner Grösse (1,9m) gab es einige Stellen, an welchen ich mich ducken musste (ist aber lernbar). Der Garten war wunderschön und stand Mitte April in voller Blüte, so wie die ganze Umgebung auch. Der weite Ausblick ins Tal ist einmalig. Trotz der Abgeschiedenheit ist Levanto, der Bahnhof oder das Meer in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreicht. Der Kontakt mit den Besitzern war sehr freundlich - die Zahlung und Kommunikation hatte tiptop geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un cadre reposant et calme. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié de se reposer après des balades à la découverte de cette belle région sous le patio et profiter du beau jardin. L'avantage de cette maison est d'être à l'écart des sites touristiques tout en étant à quelques minutes en voiture de la plage et de la gare qui dessert les Cinque Terre. Maison typique d'Italie, avec une magnifique vue sur la vallée. Très bon contact avec les propriétaires que nous remercions pour cette maison agréable à vivre.

Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet mit allem was es braucht und kann auch in kühleren Jahreszeiten perfekt geheizt werden. Der schöne Garten voller Blumen und Büsche ist für Naturfreunde ideal und lädt zu gemütlichen Lesestunden ein, immer mit dem Fernglas in Reichweite, um die zahlreichen Vögel zu beobachten. Die Ruhe im kleinen Ort Fontona ist phantastisch, die belebte und typisch italienische Stadt Levanto trotzdem schnell zu erreichen. Direkt vor dem Haus führt einer der zahlreichen Wanderwege vorbei. Wer Ruhe sucht, aber trotzdem "Bella Italia" geniessen möchte, ist hier richtig!

Ein besonderer Ort

Ein besonderer Ort

Zum wiederholten Mal waren wir in diesem schönen alten Steinhaus mit einem Garten, den wir uns besser nicht wünschen könnten. Im Haus ist alles genauso liebevoll gepflegt wie im Garten; Küchengeräte, Geschirr, Bestecke,ein neuer Gasherd, eine funktionierende Heizung, ein Kamin und ein gemütlicher Ofen, viele schöne Details, italienisches und deutsches Fernsehen und vor allem eine intakte Außenküche bei einem großen Steintisch, all das kann man zu zweit, zu viert, aber auch zu viert mit 1-2 kleinen Kindern genießen. Unser Lieblingsplatz im Terrassengarten ist die mit Glyzinie und Rose überwachsene Laube mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf das Tal und Legnaro, sowie andere kleine Ortschaften, deren Glockengeläut absolut nicht stört, sondern irgendwie passt. Direkt am Haus vorbei verläuft der Sentiero 12, der unter anderem zum Weg Nr. 1 führt, von dem ab sich später viele andere Möglichkeiten ergeben. Da wir sehr viel laufen, ist dieser Ausgangspunkt nah den Cinque Terre ideal. Es empfiehlt sich allerdings, mit einem Auto in Fontona zu wohnen, einerseits wegen der zu befördernden Einkäufe, aber auch, um nach einer Wanderung vom Bahnhof Levanto aus nicht immer noch bis Fontona hinauf laufen zu müssen. Es gibt einen kleinen Parkplatz direkt vor Levanto gegenüber einem Zeltplatz. Dieser Platz kostet nichts und man läuft nur noch ein paar Minuten zum Bahnhof. Levanto selbst ist eine angenehm ruhige Kleinstadt mit allen Freizeit- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Für uns ist es viel angenehmer, in der Nähe dieses Ortes zu wohnen, als direkt in den Cinque Terre Orten, in denen es tagsüber von Tagestouristen wimmelt; besuchen Sie diese schönen Dörfer möglichst nach 19 Uhr. Eine Bootsfahrt nach Portovenere mit einer Wanderung nach Riomaggiore ist ebenso empfehlenswert wie eine Wanderung von Corniglia über Volastra nach Manarola. Eine Zugfahrt nach Camogli und die Wanderung nach San Fruttuoso sollte man nicht auslassen. Kaufen Sie sich den Reiseführer von C. Hennig" Cinque Terre und Ligurische Küste", sowie die kleine Wanderkarte von dem CAI, dann kann fast nichts schiefgehen. Das Restaurant "Gli Ulivi " in Volastra lädt ebenso zur Mittagspause ein wie das kleine Restaurant am Telegrafo(Weg von Portovenere). Nicht unbedingt Sterneküche, aber spektakulär und gemütlich ist es bei Zita in Lavaggiorosso; vom Garten aus zu sehen. Ich sehe, es bleiben nicht mehr viele Zeichen und da ich schon seit 35b Jahren in die Cinque Terre fahre, gäbe es noch viel zu sagen. Aber:Hinfahren!

Casa Flora - ein sehr schönes, gepflegtes Haus mit einem herrlichen Garten - hat uns mit Osterglocken und Magnolienblüten empfangen. Gartenliebhaber können auf den verschiedenen Ebenen eine Vielfalt an Pflanzen, Kräutern und in Form geschnittene Sträucher entdecken. Sogar ein kleiner Wein-Berg ist dabei. Bei warmen Temperaturen muss es auch mit der Außenküche ideal sein.Das Haus mit der wunderbaren Aussicht liegt im ruhigen Fontona und dennoch zentral. Wir konnten sowohl direkt nach Monterosso loswandern als auch alle anderen Cinque-Terre-Dörfer mit dem Zug anfahren und durchwandern. Da alle Küstenwege geschlossen waren, nutzten wir die Höhenwege. Besonders beeindruckend war Monesteroli. Der tägliche Einkauf in der Markthalle in Levanto ist für leidenschaftliche "Privat-Köche" und Marktgänger ein "Muss": die Qualität ist hervorragend. Die frische Pasta - in der Nähe des Meeres - sollte unbedingt probiert werden. Trotz etwas kühlen, durchwachsenen Wetters haben wir uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt - ein Ofen mit Brennholz hat das unterstützt. Die Vermittlung des Hauses und die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr positiv und äußerst unkompliziert. Ein ideales Urlaubsquartier, für den, der die Ruhe sucht, aber auch gerne schnell mal in einem Städtchen ( keine Touristenburg) , am Strand oder in einem wunderschönen Wandergebiet sein möchte. Die Casa Flora ist und liegt traumhaft. Ihre Ausstattung ist sehr vielfältig, die Einrichtung persönlich und gemütlich. Das Bad für Italien ungewöhnlich schön und sehr geräumig. Die Buchung war unkompliziert , zum Empfang stand eine Flasche Wein für uns auf dem Küchentisch. Danke nochmal ! Zusätzlich zu der genauen Hausbeschreibung waren für uns die Einkaufstipps sehr nützlich. Da wir gerne noch einmal dort Urlaub machen wollen, werde ich das Haus nicht noch mehr loben, sonst ist es noch früher ausgebucht.

Casa Flora hat sich als idyllischer und ruhiger Hafen in der wunderschönen und darum auch gut besuchten Cinque Terre Region erwiesen. Das Haus liegt im ruhigen Ortsteil Fontona, etwas abseits des Trubels. Trotzdem ist man schnell im Ort, wenn man ein Fahrzeug hat. Das Haus bietet eine wunderbare Aussicht. Der Charakter des Plätzchens ist 100 % authentisch, trotzdem hat es uns jeden von uns erwarteten Komfort geboten. Die Ausstattung ist liebevoll und für uns war sie vollständig. Die Betten waren hervorragend und besonders gefallen hat uns auch die kleine Yamaha-Stereo-Anlage, die auch einen Ipod-Hafen hat.

Wir waren drei Wochen im Sommer mit unseren beiden Söhnen, sechs und neun Jahre alt) in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Das Haus ist mit sehr schönen Details liebevoll hergerichtet. Bemerkenswert sind die guten Betten, die einen tief schlafen ließen. Das Badezimmer ist groß und sehr gepflegt. Wir haben auch die Innen- und Außenküche sehr genossen und viele schöne Gerichte mit frischen Fisch und Muscheln zubereitet. Die zweite Terasse bietet um die Mittagszeit eine schöne Möglichkeit im Schatten einen Imbiss mit superschöner Aussicht zu genießen. Der terassenförmig angelegte Garten ist selbst im Hochsommer eine Augenweide und bietet neben schönen Stellen zum Sonnen auch viele Möglichkeiten im Schatten zu sein. Sehr schön ist auch die Nähe zum Meer und dem Ort Levanto (ein sehr schöner Ort!!). Wir haben uns so wohl gefühlt, dass wir dort immer wieder hinfahren würden.
