Location and price.
In the bathroom the curtains were all messed up and had some splatter.

After reading some of the most recent reviews, I was a bit concerned about what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I was sent full instructions, including photographs, as to how to access the property. The apartment was clean and spacious and had everything we required. I especially like the wrap-a-round balcony. The apartment is across the road from 2 supermarkets, 10 minutes walk to the town centre and 20 minutes walk to the train station. This is not the Savoy but I thought the property was worth the money charged for 4 people. We only stayed for 2 nights but I would have gladly stayed longer if possible. We bumped into the cleaner when we left property and she was very pleasant and asked if our stay was OK.
As mentioned in some of the other reviews, there is an issue with some of the lights not working or bulbs missing although I did find some spare in a wardrobe. Also, as previously mentioned, there are odd items stored in the property that could be cleared or put away in a cupboard. Although we did not use the third bedroom (with the small roof window), the main light was not working and we found it a bit spooky with the large mirror down one wall. Also, although it did not affect us, the blinds could do with being replaced/fixed. If you have mobility problems this apartment is not for you as it is up several flights of stairs. If you are not German, sorting out the different types of rubbish is a bit confusing but we managed!
