About this apartment rental

Welcome to our holiday apartment Platzhirsch in Haus Sonnenfleck! The apartment is located in a spacious and sunny country house from 1928 with an eventful history. The house already hosted numerous guests in the 1930s. Since then a lot has happened. The entire building has been extensively renovated and renovated in recent years. The apartment is on the ground floor and offers comfortable space for 2-6 people on about 115 square meters. You live extremely quiet, but still very central. The Garmisch pedestrian zone, Zugspitzbahn, ice stadium, indoor swimming pool with sauna area, grocery stores, congress center, local bus (free with spa card) and main station are in max. Easy to reach in 5-10 minutes. Thus, a journey without a car is completely unproblematic.

- Kitchen (19m²) fully equipped, large dining table, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, stereo system
- Bay window (18m²) with a comfortable sofa, satellite TV, flat screen, DVD player
- 1. Bedroom (22m²) with double bed (1,60m x 2m)
- 2nd Bedroom (11m²) with double bed (1,40m x 2m)
- 3rd Bedroom (15m²) with double bed (1,40m x 2m)
- Bathroom with shower / bathtub, 2 sinks, towel warmer, hair dryer and separate toilet

We always provide bed linen and towels free of charge.

The apartment was outstanding. Walking distance to the centre of town, off street parking and Iris and Stefan were great hosts. It had absolutely everything we needed.

This is a perfect holiday home. We stayed here for a week with my 2 daughters. The host were very welcoming and although lived upstairs we never really seen them but were available if we needed anything Everything was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The only thing missing was a washing machine which would have been handy. I didnt really want to spend a day of my holiday at a laundry so had to handwash some smalls to get us through. Plenty of good restaurants within walking distance.

Perfectly located in Garmisch, walk anywhere, but when you look out the front window all you see is mountains! This town and this place are amazing!Iris let us check In early. Warm and inviting lots of space. Answered any and all questions without hesitation. Would love to see it in the winter!

The location, comfort, and cleanliness were excellent. There were DVD’s available, games for kids, full complement of kitchen utilities. The only thing missing was shampoo and/or body wash. I’m so used to expecting these, I never bring my own. Off street parking was great. Host was very responsive. Great place!

A beautiful property walking distance to everything central: groceries, shopping, bike rental, train station etc. This was a perfect place for my friends and I to enjoy G-P and relax in the evening. Everything was wonderful!

This property was very spacious and impeccably clean. Our bed was very comfortable. The location was wonderful. Stores and restaurants were within walking distance. The neighborhood was extremely quiet at night, which enabled us to get a wonderful night sleep, even with the windows open. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this property. Garmisch is a lovely town and we were a group of both skiers and non-skiers. The main ski school and chair lift is a 6 minute drive away (with a large car park) or a 25 minute walk. We did both regularly. There are loads of lovely restaurants nearby as well as good shops and supermarkets if you want to cook yourself in the very well appointed kitchen. We would definitely return here, we had a fabulous holiday.

We had a great two days staying at the Platz Hirsch. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Iris was a wonderful host. The kitchen offered everything we needed to cook and we also enjoyed a great dinner at Colloseo. Thanks for a great stay. We stayed in this property for 3 nights to enjoy skiing in the general area. Very good location within walking distance of the town centre for shops and restaurants and handy for the Ski Bus. Accommodation was very modern and comfortable. Easy on street parking. Will definitely be booking again when travelling to Garmisch.

We stayed at this apartment with two couples plus kids and it was set up perfectly for us. Everything was very clean. A bin of toys was available for the kids as well as a highchair and pack'n'play if needed. Towels were provided. Kitchen had plates, cutlery, pots and pans etc. The apartment was within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops and also very convenient to the mountains. The view outside the door is breathtaking! I highly recommend this apartment!

Was greeted by our hostess Iris who was delightful. She gave us a quick tour of the apartment which was wonderfully clean. Perfect kitchen & bathrooms. The beds were comfortable as well. Neighborhood was perfect, walking distance to amazing food & shopping. We were hungry for authentic German food and Iris directed us to Zum_Wildschutz which was delicious & fun. We will be back.

My family and I (2 adults, 3 young children) have been on vacation for 4 weeks. This property was one of the highlights of our trip. Apartment was extremely clean, high quality accommodations, great wifi, and hosts were first class. There was no laundry available but the hosts helped us find a local place. Apartment was well decorated and had more than enough room for our family of 5 (one small child on fold out couch). I cannot say enough great things about this apartment or the hosts. I wish we could have stayed longer. I definitely reccommend!

Wir (2 Erwachsene mit 3 Kindern) haben unseren Urlaub in einer sehr schönen und sauberen Ferienwohnung genossen. Sowohl der Check-In als auch der Check-Out waren sehr unkompliziert und die Gastgeber sehr nett. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Bus und Bahn sind innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. So konnten wir die meiste Zeit auf das Auto verzichten. Garmisch-Partenkirchen als Urlaubsort und vor allem diese Ferienwohnung sind absolut zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank für einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub.
