Lovely, clean accommodation

Lovely place in a great location with free parking. It was very clean, well equipped and had little extras like wash liquid, coffee, tea, salt pepper etc, which was great. It had a pretty private garden with seating which we really enjoyed. It was an easy walk to local restaurants, shops and museums, so we didn't need to use our car. Evelyne who met us with the key was really friendly and spoke good English. She told us about local activities and gave us loads of useful information. She even gave us some of her homemade jam when we arrived, which was delicious. We loved Bourges and had a fab holiday and will be returning to stay here again. We were very impressed.

Beautiful, ultra clean apartment with lovely garden in exceedingly convenient location. Evelyn is a joy to deal with and provided essentials. Public car parking is right opposite the apartment but can get busy.

Excellent accommodation in the heart of Bourges

Very large, comfortable and well-equipped apartment - including a library of books and table football (!) - within easy walking distance of the centre of Bourges. Good free parking right outside. Despite being on a relatively busy street, it was quiet in the basement and the garden. Easy hand over of keys and the hostess provided us with all the relevant local information.

The access to the apartment is down some fairly steep stairs and this makes bringing suitcases in and out a little tricky, and, as the door opens inwards, you have to descend some steps then reach back up to open or shut the door. It's quite safe as there is a rail support, but could be fiddly for some older visitors.

Fabulous oasis

One of the nicest apartments we have stayed in. Evaline the very kind host has thought of everything a traveller could possibly need and everything is provided. All is high quality and impeccably clean. The private garden is a beautiful, sunny oasis in the centre of town, very peaceful and relaxing. Great location for lovely walks through the marshes too. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

An ideal, well-equipped and comfortable location for visiting Bourges

Location was ideal for visiting Bourges. The property was modern, very well equipped with a comfortable bed, well arranged kitchen and bathroom. the garden was well kept with chairs and a table only the weather prevented us taking advantage. A slight disadvantage for visitors with limited mobility was that the apartment was accessed from the street down a flight of stairs. Parking was in a central, free, public carpark.

Very comfortable, convenient apartment for exploring Bourges.

Although the apartment is described as convenient for the city centre, we were delighted to find everything we wanted within a five minute walk, even the Marais area of Bourges. The apartment is superb, very well appointed with ample street parking outside, and it is very quiet. We didn't cook there but everything was provided, nor did we use the very pretty garden, due to the weather. The host is next door and more than willing to assist with advice, maps etc. An excellent find that will sway our future choice away from the one room, one chair hotels.

No lift so bags have to be carried down a single flight of stairs. Otherwise, nothing.

Un soggiorno perfetto

Siamo stati quattro giorni in questa casa super accogliente. Ingresso indipendente; grande soggiorno grande cucina super attrezzata. Camera letto (letto grande) molto graziosa. Grande bagno. TV con Netflix e accoglienza della proprietaria fantastica; guide turistiche a portata di mano e personali indicazioni cosa fare a Bourges . Il giardino una bellissima sorpresa anche se avevamo già visto dalle foto; ma era ancora più bello. Cattedrale e centro di Bourges a poche centinaia di metri. Anche il Marais... e il lago d'Auron, per noi che siamo camminatori, fatto tutto a piedi. Parcheggio su strada fronte casa su un bellissimo viale. La padrona di casa ci ha omaggiato di un pacchetto di biscotti locali. Per concludere una casa "viva". Una delle più belle sistemazioni con rapporto qualità prezzo che Booking in questi lunghi anni mi ha offerto.

Vraiment exceptionnel. Logement impeccable, très confortable et parfaitement équipé de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin dans une maison. Une mention spéciale pour tous les livres mis à disposition. La situation à trois pas de la vieille ville rend le séjour très agréable tant il est facile de s'organiser en petites ou grandes balades vers tous les points intéressants. Jardin calme, très plaisant à disposition. Stationnement sans aucun problème en face de la maison. Faut-il ajouter que l'accueil est parfait et l'hôtesse de très bon conseil.
