I found the pet fee - 30 Eur per night - excessive, especially considering that nothing ‘special’ was provided for our dog and in comparison to the price of the room it was a lot

Nice spacious room - with second room (bedroom). Very good location. Helpful staff. The optional breakfast is excellent - highly recommend it’s worth the £15 for two.

A property with real character, restored in a very sensitive way. In the old quarter close to the Cathedral. We were upgraded to a suite with a drawing room, dining room and bedroom!

Lovely location but a disappointing apartment

Reception staff were very pleasant. The location was excellent. The room had a shabby chic charm. The bed was comfortable

We rented an apartment with ostensibly two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms small and Spartan and to use the bathroom any occupant had to go through the other bedroom. It is not suitable for other than close family members, certainly not for two couples. I raised this with the reception desk who said it was suitable for families but this is not clear on the web site. He further said it was cheap for two rooms. It didn’t seem cheap at 178 euros a night. The kitchen facilities are very limited. OK for one night but not if you want to cater for yourselves. The apartment was also rather shabby and dark. I’m sure there are much nicer rooms in the main building - this was what was presumably the coachman’s rooms originally, above the garages, and it felt like it.

Exceptional

The old style of the appartement was beautiful. Apartment "Les Tours" offers a beautiful view of the Cathedral. The bathroom with it's stone sink and stone tiles in the shower were beautiful. Location is perfect. I did not have breakfast there but they offer a large selection of breakfast items.

A beautiful building well located for exploring Bourges

The hotel is beautifully restored and in a perfect location for exploring the old town, shops and restaurants. We were advised that parking could be difficult through the old gates, but we had no problem parking a large estate car. Staff are on site and willing to help if you are a little nervous. The breakfast basket was good.

The accommodation is advertised as self-catering and although we were not expecting hotel facilities it would have been nice to have had more than one capusue each for the nespresso coffee machine.

Beautiful buildings in a fabulous location. Lots of character and comfortable beds.

Rugs were a trip hazard! Not a single coat hanger in wardrobe and a bulb out in bedside lamp. No instructions on how to operate air con units. I strongly suggest you book the hotel's car park if possible. We thought we'd find on-street parking, but it seems that none of the local properties have drives and so spaces were impossible to find.

History you can stay in.

Great place to stay for a stopover as usual. Love the history apparent as you enter the gates and continuing in the character laden staircase and into the atmospheric bedrooms. Very nice staff.

Not sure why I was told one of my rooms had been upgraded when we stayed in the rooms I booked. No problem they are the rooms I wanted.

The breakfast was not included in the price of the room. In addition, the extra price for the breakfast was too high for what it was offered. We had to pay also an extra amount for the parking in the hotel.

Such a quirky and interesting hotel, great renovation of a very old building. The room was basic but everything needed is there, including a kitchen area with a fridge - very handy for the G&T and Rose. Great to be able to park safely in the gated car park. The staff were very friendly and super-helpful with recommendations of where to go and for restaurant choices. The buildings in the old town are very attractive, many are timbered, and the Cathedral was interesting too.

The location, views and property was incredible. Perfect place to stay in Bourges, just around the corner from the main street, but still in a calm area. The staff were incredibly nice and upgraded us to a larger room uponon arrival. Thank you team Panette!

The apartment was not fully clean. The cutlery, glasses, cups, etc. we're not clean and couldn't be used. Also, in the bathroom there was a previous guest's personal hygiene products left on the counter, which made us question how detailed the overall cleaning was.

Exquisite hotel!

Exquisite hotel that gives the guests a taste of history along side modern conveniences. We loved the view into the courtyard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great -- very convenient to all of the interesting sites and for the evening walk in the luminaires de nuit.
