About this house rental
Charming, quietly situated vacation home with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside in a nature reserve amidst the rolling hills of the Umbria region and only 1 km from the small town of Massa Martana (stores of all kinds). The vacation home is surrounded by a spacious private property, partly with meadow, where the L-shaped swimming pool is also located. The interior of the house is inviting and tasteful. In the basement, guests have access to a fitness room with shower room. Baby crib on request. Garage. In the vicinity you will find good hiking trails, which can be explored on foot or by mountain bikes, and a riding stable. The pretty, characteristic town of Todi is about 9 km away, Montefalco, a medieval town where you can admire frescoes by masters of Umbrian painting between the 14th and 16th centuries, is 31 km away, while Perugia, Assisi and the impressive waterfall "Cascate delle Marmore" can be found within 55 km.

Stayed for 2 weeks at this lovely villa, very tastefully decorated and well equipped, with a gym downstairs for guest to use, and free unlimited wifi (fast enough to keep the youtubers happy).
Well situated with lovely views on the outskirts of the small quiet village of Massa Martana, perfect for exploring the local area including Todi and Marmore Falls, well worth a visit when the falls are turned on as well as near enough to Rome 1.5hrs, Assisi 45mins and Perugia 1hr.
The owners lives nearby but not on site and is very friendly and helpful, recommending local restuarants and tourist attractions and dealing with any issues.
We ate in the local restaurant (5 mins car drive) Il Gattopardo and shopped at the local supermarket (2 mins by car) well stocked and no need to travel further afield.
Would definitely recommend and stay here again if visiting Umbria.
