About this apartment rental
This well-furnished, spacious first-floor apartment is located on a quiet side street in the Heart of Bar Harbor. The house is just steps away from the Bar Island path, the Shore Path, Harborfront, Village Green, restaurants, shops, grocery store, cinema, museum, banks, post-office, drug store, and all village amenities. Bar Harbor is a walkable destination, with connector trails to Acadia National Park, and a free Island Explorer bus service located nearby at the Village Green.
This apartment has an entry foyer, bedroom with a queen-size bed, full bathroom with tub/shower, fully appointed kitchen with herbs, spices, coffee and tea, and all the miscellaneous kitchen tools and appliances just like home. The kitchen opens up to a large dining/sitting area, a table for four, and a sitting area with a sectional sofa. Off the kitchen/great room are a laundry room and a separate living room with a sofa and a Smart Roku TV, where guests may log into their own streaming or cable accounts.
The entry deck by the kitchen has a gas grill, and the front porch overlooking the garden is a wonderful spot to sip your morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine in the warmth of the late afternoon sun.

This was our second stay at this property. Loved it last year so booked it again this year. Loved it just as much this year. The best feature of this property is it's location. Right in the middle of town. Never had to find parking for anything in town. Just parked on the property and walked to everything we wanted to do. Also it is only a couple minutes drive to several different Acadia NP entrances. Plus, everything we needed was on hand. I noticed that there were several interior updates since last year which made the place even nicer and cozier. My wife and I love Maine and especially Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. This was our 8th time visiting the area and the last two were at this property. If we ever get to come back again, this will be the first property I look up. 10/10 rating. Thumbs up. A rating.

Perfect Location in Bar Harbor! No need to move the car - everything is within walking distance! Comfortable place, well-equipped for a relaxing vacation.

The location was perfect for walking around in bar harbor. Right on the corner from an excellent French restaurant and the house itself was beautiful inside and out. Would absolutely stay again and Doug was an excellent host and very accommodating. No notes :)

We have stayed so many times at this lovely property it has become our home away from home.
It’s close to everything and only a few miles to Acadia National Park .
