A sweet, newly-renovated 2 BR 1 BA in the heart of Bar Harbor with AC.
A sweet, newly-renovated 2 BR 1st floor apartment with air conditioning on a residential street in the heart of the village of Bar Harbor. Chez Acadia is as convenient as it can be to the village parks, shops, restaurants and bars--you can leave the car in the off-street parking area and walk all over the village on pleasant summer evenings, then return to a very comfy, charming home. And as a base camp for your explorations of Acadia National Park (less than a mile away) and Mt. Desert Island, it is ideally-located.
All on one floor--with hardwood floors throughout--you will enjoy a pleasant living room with comfy furniture, cable TV/DVD, a dining room that accommodates 4, a quaint, fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. Plenty of windows make the apartment light and bright, and the owners are upstairs if you need anything.
Spend evenings relaxing on the covered front porch, with dining table & chairs and comfy porch furniture--our famous cool, breezy evenings are perfect after a day of hiking, biking and touring Acadia National Park. You'll want to come back each year and make this your place in Acadia.
Rates include the cost of normal departure cleaning.
All houses are fully equipped, including linens and dishes.
Refundable security deposit, 9% Maine State Sales Tax and a $25 nonrefundable booking fee are not included in the rental rates shown.
Although rates and calendars are updated online routinely, prices and availability are subject to change pending owner confirmation.

Great location for our visit to Acadia National Park. We could take the Island Express into the park instead of hunting for parking. We could walk everywhere in Bar Harbor. It was clean and comfortable - had all that we needed.

I have been coming to Bar Harbor for over 20 years and this is the nicest property that we have stayed at. Charming , super clean house, great location. Only caveat is there is only parking for 1 vehicle.

We loved this house. It is perfect for a family of 3 or 4. Great location on a quiet street but only a block from everything. It was very clean inside. They had everything we needed including coffee. The only thing to be aware of is that the booking and payment process was unusual because they use a private rental agency. This group was extremely friendly, responsive, and helpful. However, I spent almost an hour with VRBO trying to figure a few things out. Also, this home adds a large 3.5% credit card charge which is OK; but it was not fully disclosed prior to booking. The whole experience was stressful.We would love to stay here again and highly recommend this home for anyone visiting Bar Harbor!
