We very much enjoyed our stay. Our host, Ann provided a very thoughtful Welcome basket. The bungalow was clean, and easy to keep clean with equipment to assist. The location was fantastic - just off the Village Green, yet private and quiet - perfect! The kitchen was well equipped with a full size refrigerator, gas range and oven, dishes, glasses, pots and pans, utensils, and appropriate kitchen linens. The shower was great - good pressure and lots of hot water as well as ample towels and face clothes. There was also an ample supply of toilet paper provided. The laundry was clean and convenient - we used it quite a bit as Bar Harbor was our last stop on an extended trip. There is great storage space - closets with lots of hangers, shelves, dresser, a bench for suitcases, and a spare chair for easy dressing. The good storage made it easy to keep the place orderly during our stay, and that helps our relaxation. The bungalow is tastefully decorated with lots of nice touches: Great selection of books to read, functioning wi-fi, lovely wind chimes on the patio, a comfortable bed with spare blankets, attractive artwork and nick-nacks. There were some good resources about local activities and hikes in the area - very helpful. We are very likely to visit this unit again in the future.

Great location, convenient to downtown Bar Harbor, the ocean, and Acadia National Park. Quiet, pet-friendly, easy parking, owner lives on site and was helpful and friendly but not intrusive.

We had a wonderful experience at Ann’s place for a week. Ann’s lovely, we didn’t need anything while we were there so our contact was limited but she is very hospitable and available if needed. She even sent a message because we didn’t pull into the spot all the way to give us an heads up about deliveries and we were able to pull in more to ensure we were out of the road. We drove in from pretty far and there was a lovely welcome basket with a welcome page. Ann had great instructions that were clear and easy to follow. Ann’s place is a great size- had everything we needed in a little cottage, including plenty of books about Acadia, and what a treat to have the fenced in patio, our pup loved laying outside and sunning. We drove and found the kitchen to be well equipped to cook a few nights. It’s a huge bonus to have a parking spot and the location in bar harbor was absolutely perfect for us, there was a few areas for our dog - 2 parks, the shore path, and bar island path. We were even able to walk to the great meadows loop trail for about a mile which is technically Acadia park. We came to hike, and walk around the shops - Ann’s place was perfect for all of these things. A 5 minute drive to Acadia, not having to drive around downtown Bar Harbor - we were able to walk everywhere we needed. Ann also has an excellent selection of books and plenty of open space for our suitcases etc. We had such a lovely time - I can’t recommend it enough or Ann’s place - thank you Ann!
