A lovely location and charming layout, but the stay was let down by the cold, cleanliness concerns, poor soundproofing,

The location is genuinely excellent — right on the river, close to cafés and historic streets, with a pharmacy just 2 minutes away and a small but well-stocked supermarket around 7 minutes away. The apartment itself has a very charming layout, and the little dressing room next to the bedroom was especially pretty. Being in a residential building also added a lovely authentic feel, as if we were genuinely living in Pisa for a few days, which we really enjoyed.

The apartment was extremely cold during our February stay. The very high ceilings made it difficult for the heating to warm the space properly, so it never reached a comfortable temperature. We messaged the host through Booking to ask whether there was a second duvet, but we didn’t receive any reply. We eventually found an extra duvet ourselves on the last night, but that obviously didn’t help for most of the stay. Cleanliness could have been better too. We arrived 40 minutes before the official check-in time (with prior agreement) just to drop our bags, and the cleaner arrived at the same time. We saw the apartment before it had been cleaned and were surprised by how messy it was so close to check-in. Even after it was cleaned, it still didn’t feel thoroughly prepared. The bathroom was also in a poor condition, with visible mould that made it feel neglected. Soundproofing was another major issue — we could hear the neighbours very clearly, including them having sex at 1 a.m., which made it difficult to relax or sleep. We reported the noise issue through Booking as well, but again received no reply. Essentials were also lacking: only half a roll of toilet paper was provided for two people staying two nights. We were also asked to send a passport number through the Booking.com messaging system before arrival, which goes against Booking’s own policy on sharing sensitive identification details. If passport information is required, the property should either collect it in person or provide a physical guest-information sheet in the apartment instead of requesting it over the app.

Clean apartment in a great city location

Fantastic apartment in a great location, lovely river view, it felt very Italian with the high ceilings. The bed was comfortable and plenty of space in the bedroom. Easy to access, clear instructions from the host.

There was a bit of traffic noise, this is to be expected really when staying in a city. The kitchen is basic, but that didn't worry us as we didn't cook! Sufficient for breakfast needs.

Looks can be deceiving

The decor of the flat was really nice, the check in process and the check out were really smooth and the host was really helpful to us. The flat is spacious the bed comfortable and it has a dressing area 😊 and the location was really good for sightseeing. The flat also has a veranda where you can chill which was really nice

In the bedroom: - the windows are not double glazed so even though we didnt go over the weekend it was still really noisy at night time as well as being shut in and not being able to open them - the blinds and shutters don't work so if you hope to have darkness in the room is not going to happen - the remote for the aircon was working however the aircon did not work at all In the bathroom: - there was no shower gel/shampoo provided which was a but if a surprise for us - the shower head is not working properly and it splashes water everywhere as well as the taps being old and very hard to work especially the sink one -the water in the shower was either hot or cold and it was really difficult to have a shower at a constant temperature The kitchen: there is an issue with the plumbing system and after using the kitchen sink a smell sips through the flat of rotten eggs which is really unpleasant especially since the bedroom windows not opening it was hard to create any ventilation to get rid of the smell

It was very clean and adjacent to the river. The main attractions were only a short walk away.

we hadn’t understood the booking clearly enough to realise that we had actually only booked one part of the property! we had asked for two beds (albeit one sofa bed) but ended up with one double for two friends to share! The owner was understanding but could do nothing about it as the other part was also booked out. Therefore there was no seating area apart from the kitchen table. Be aware when booking!

- no shower gel in bathroom - toilet wasn't clean at all - kitchen doesnt have any cooking items not even kitchen towels - duvet was torn and there was no duvet cover on them. It was wrapped with sheets which was making it uncomfortable. - I think the water from bathtub , wash basin and kitchen sink were passing from bidet which was making it more dirty. - If we are being charged good amount for the stay the facilities should be good too not just passable

As the name shows, it is very close to the riverside. Outside the window, we can see the river. Also a small good looking balcony.

There are some types of equipment that seem to be too old and not working. Such as the shower is hard to control, and the window is hard to open.

Great location, but needs improvement

The bed Was comfy with a nice view of the river. It was safe and secure.

It was unclean including the windows (the main feature of the room) which made it hard to see the view. Basic things like washing up liquid and kitchen roll were not provided. There was a slight sewage issue which caused bad smell. The apartment has so much potential if it was to be cleaned properly and updated.

We loved everything, there was a small balcony where you could sit and read but unfortunately there was lot of bird poo on the chairs, otherwise the inside of the flat was spotless.

Penso che le chiavi per aprire le stanze siano tutte e uguali nell'appartamento, ed essendoci antri inquilini in altre camere, ho sempre avuto il sospetto che con una chiave si potesse entrare anche nelle camere di tutti gli altri. E così è andata, in quanto mentre eravamo a letto ha aperto la porta una sconosciuta.

Incantevole

Stanza pulitissima, nulla da dire. La posizione incantevole, vista Arno, molto luminosa. Molto centrale perché a piedi è raggiungibile qualsiasi punto d'interesse della città. Se capita l'occasione ci torneremo sicuramente!
