King Lear- White Rose - is an apartment completely renovated and furnished in the latest fashion in November 2015. King Lear - White Rose - consists of a living room-kitchen equipped with a kitchen with fireplaces, oven, fridge, freezer, plus an extendable table for 4-6 seats and flat screen TV Led. The sofa bed is in the living room and is easily foldable. The master bedroom is tastefully decorated and has a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. You can add a single bed. The bathroom is windowed and is complete with shower and washing machine.

The final cleaning, linen and towels, and WiFi are included in the price.

Since 2012 the City of Verona has forced the city tax of € 3.50 per night per person up to a maximum of 5 nights.

The unit was largely clean, however there was mold in the mocha (coffe pot). Only tap water available in the fridge which hasn’t been the norm in the multiple Band B’s we’ve stayed in in Italy. Iron didn’t work. No paper towls bare minimal amenities like soap, extra towls etc. Excellent location by multiple grocery stores near by and very close to many land marks and shopping in the area.

We so greatly enjoyed our stay in Verona. The apartment was perfectly situated near the arena, Piazza Bra and Castel Vecchio, and it's a relatively easy 18 min walk from Porta Nuova train station during the day, though we arrived late and did take a cab for about 11 Euros. Claudia was very prompt with responses and sent a helpful video re: after hours access to the unit. The apartment itself was extremely tidy, very nicely appointed and a lovely respite from the crowds and heat (much warmer weather than we expected, or packed for, so the AC got good use!). It was so nice being able to pop over to the Pam grocery store around the corner and get essentials so we could cook meals at our home away from home. Off every we find our way back to Verona, we'd gladly stay here again. Grazie mille, Claudia!

The property is in a good location, with easy access to and from the railway station by foot or bus. Access was reasonably straightforward. The flat is well-equipped, and the heating was on, so it was quite cosy. The accommodation is spacious for two people, and the bed is comfortable. There is also ample storage space for clothes etc. The apartment is well located for visiting the Arena and the central piazza, and within walking distance of all the town's attractions. There are numerous bars and restaurants, and a couple of supermarkets, nearby. There is a great baker directly opposite the entrance to the block, and they also do breakfast. We haven't given 5 stars because there are one or two niggles (no view from windows, decor a little tired, some of the furniture needs a little maintenance), but overall we would recommend this apartment for a visit to Verona.

Our family of three stayed here using Verona as a base to venture out to Lake Garda for a couple days. Check-in was online, and picking up the keys to the apartment was very easy. The apartment is in a great location. We chose to take a taxi from the train station which cost approximately €15, but we used public transportation the rest of the visit. Multiple bus stops were within a 5 minute walk. The apartment was very clean. I really appreciated that the sofa bed was already made up for us when we got there. I felt like the size of the apartment was perfect for us three. It might be a little cramped with 5 people. The only downside was the view. The windows looked out on an alley of some sort. Not the prettiest views for our morning coffee, but the city itself is so beautiful once you venture out. We really enjoyed staying in the apartment and would definitely stay again. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our homestay here. It was very well equipped and had a few extra personal touches that made the place even better. The hosts were very quick to respond to questions and concerns, and they are warm hearted people. We didn't have to think about our worry about the logistics during our time in Verona because everything was very clear and easy. Highly recommend!

This apartment was perfect for a family of four. Included a king bed (not queen or double) along with a single/twin rollaway and a sofa bed which worked well for each of our older teens. Large, clean bathroom and a 6kg washing machine (small by US standards but worked very well and hanging rack was also available in the unit). Lovely full kitchen with everything you'll need including a microwave which must have been added since an earlier review. Selected in part because it included air conditioning, but the weather was cool so we just opened the windows for a nice breeze. The location couldn't be better. You are literally 5 minute walk from the arena. Very quiet street considering how close you are to the action. The hosts are great about letting you store luggage prior to/after your stay. Highly recommend.

The "King Lear" apartment has a splendid location, just a few hundred yards from Piazza Bra and the Roman amphitheater. Verona offers many interesting and educational sights. The apartment was well equipped. (Could use a pot holder. :-)) Giulia and Nicolo were there to help when asked.

this apartment was larger than the 2 of us needed - it would be perfect for 3 - 5 people. We appreciated the extras provided and missed being in the historic center. We were provided 2 videos for check-in that we attempted to download 3 times (in different locations) - not sure if our connection was weak - couldn't seem to get the video to play without long pauses. Luckily, we happened upon 2 gentlemen who assisted us with the locations to be able to get keys and access the property. We loved Verona and plan to return - thanks!

The apartment was fully equipped, spacious, clean, quiet and in a perfect location. The video provided prior to our arrival made for a seamless check in. An information sheet in the apartment was very useful. We locked ourselves out of the apartment on a Saturday night and the owners went above and beyond to have keys delivered to us. We highly recommend all units rented out by these owners. Mille mille grazie.

We were met by Mattia who gave us a map detailing sites to visit, restaurants, parking etc etc. We had a problem with the Wi-Fi but Mattia kindly came on his Sat night to fix it. The apartment is a very short walk to the famous amphitheatre and all the beautiful sites of Verona. So far, Verona has been my favourite city.

It is very convenient to the old city and the train station. Their are many large supermarkets close by for self catering. Verona has good convenient connections to Lake Garda and other major towns. Amazing Stay & Accomodations in Verona

This is a wonderful apartment and VERY convenient to the historical city. Nicolo greeted us and explained everything. Guilia had been our main text contact (she uses WhatsApp too, very popular in Europe, so consider downloading that to your phone), but we unfortunately never got to meet her. She is very responsive, however & very accommodating to one's needs. OMG, Verona - with it's river, hills, ancient walls, everything, is a wonderful City. This property is perfect & if it's warm weather the AC is a real plus. It's, very simply, a first rate accomodation. Only if you want rooms with a view would it not meet expectations. There is a full scale grocery store a very short distance from the apartment. Finally, we rented a car for the day, road along Lake Garda & up to Rovereto. The trip from there to Vincenza was a spectacularly scenic drive, then a stop in Vincenza & back to Verona airport to drop off the car ... drove out at 8:45 & dropped off car at about 6pm. We took our time, so it's a very doable trip, and scenic payoff (if weather's good) is beyond describable. Thank you Nicolo and Guilia for allowing our first Verona experience to be a most memorial one!!

This is a great apartment for a base to explore the beautiful city of Verona and Lake Garda. The location is perfect and the apartment itself is modern, spacious and nicely furnished. Communication from the owners was great before and during our stay. We arrived earlier than their usual check in time and they were happy for us to leave our luggage in the apartment while the cleaner prepared everything for us. Verona itself is great for a short break; it's close to the airport , has some great, reasonably priced restaurants and is small enough to walk around with some great things to see - the cathedral is stunning. Also worthwhile is a Wine Tasting Tour - we took the Amarone Wine Trail Tour (booked through GetYourGuide beforehand) and had a great day. All in all, a great stay in a beautiful city. We had a great stay there, location is perfect, flat has everything you need. Nicolo met us and gave us a lot of tips about restaurants, how to get to Garda etc. He is a perfect host, very smiley and welcoming. The only downside is that neighbours upstairs are quite loud and noisy, but you can't change those. Location couldn't be more perfect. There are 2 supermarkets just around the corner, we found Pam to be a bit too expensive, Spar is better. Also, just a few mins away there is Aldi and it has a very good selection. If I am ever in Verona again I will definitely stay in the same place,can't fault it.

King Lear, White Rose apartment is super clean and has great air conditioning. The bed was really comfortable for a great night’s rest. We used the kitchen daily for breakfast using the espresso stovetop coffee pot (coffee, salt, olive oil on hand at the apt) and shopped at the incredibly convenient just around the block grocery store that had everything we needed. We also prepared a few easy suppers there too. The kitchen was stocked well enough for our simple needs except for having a bent cork screw that we forgot to tell them about. (We bought one nearby as a souvenir so it wasn’t an issue for us) Church bells woke us up a few mornings at 8:30, but we didn’t mind...it was a beautiful sound! There is a reasonably priced restaurant/bar just out the door and in this central area there are sidewalk cafes galore! We took a taxi on a regular day, mid day from the Verona airport to get to the apartment and the fare was €33. When we left the city, we found it to be a really easy walk pulling carryon/weekender size suitcases (15minutes) to Porto Nuova train station. One day we easily travelled to a town called Bordolino (8€ return per adult) on Lake Garda by catching a bus at Piazza Bra which is only about two blocks from the apt. This apartment would be highly recommended by us for couples travelling to Verona.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We wanted a place close to the main areas of interest but off the beaten track. This apartment worked out well for us. It was clean and had a very comfortable bed. The only complaints were some minor repairs that needed to be done. I highly recommend it.

This is a very nice apartment with everything we needed for our visit to Verona. Our host was helpful in getting oriented to Verona. We used public transit buses to/from airport which was very easy and quick. Being just outside the downtown pedestrian area meant accessing the city was as easy as putting on our shoes for a couple minute walk. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious, and nicely equipped. The bed was the most comfortable one we experienced on our travels. For 2 people it is perfect. For a small family the main (open concept living/dining/kitchen) room would be a second sleep area. The kitchen is equipped with everything a typical apartment would have and very usable. If there is a downside to this apartment it would be the view. I don't really think this is much of a bad thing because you are most likely to be spending most of your time exploring outside. Verona itself is a lovely city worth spending some time visiting. We took a couple of tours including a cycling tour to an olive oil farm and press, and a walking food and history tour. Dining in the area was wonderful. Supermarkets around the corner for those wanting to do a few meals at home or just for snacks for kicking back.
